Vinyl or nitrile. Nitrile gloves are the strongest and most durable among disposable gloves.

We cannot buy Ansell multi-purpose disposable gloves 100 pack, 3 great colours in Coles, woolworths,IGA or Aldi any more. Why not!Could you please tell us where we can get them in Brisbane.

I suggest you dig out some of the packaging from the trash and contact the manufacturer or importer from the details thereon. Ask for a list of local stockists.

Your local motor factor/trade supplier or safety equipment supplier would undoubtedly be happy to sell you trade packs of disposable gloves in powdered or unpowdered latex or nitrile at some very keen prices. The colours are not so great and generally are natural, blue or black...

Have just changed ink cartridges on my new Canon MG3200 series printer. Black worked for a few sheets of A4 then faded and now nothing prints. Pop-up suggests resetting print heads so how do I do that

Mikey is correct, but it sounds like the print heads may be clogged. If so then there is a cleaning mode in the printers set up you can try. As Mikey has asked make sure that the ink cartridges are the original OEM ones.

Something else that you can try: If they are the original and you have tried the cleaning cycle ( maybe even several times, but remember that you will be using ink for each cleaning and recharging cycle) and if they still don't seem to work then take a small container and fill it with warm water and let the cartridges soak in it for about an hour. Make sure to dry them and be very careful about touching the part on the bottom where the ink comes out of and also the little contacts. Try using a can of compressed air to help get the water out of the small crevices. Make sure to use a pair of nitrile or latex gloves (if your not allergic to latex)

Why do latex gloves considered to be the best choice for protection?

Latex is the gold standard for durability. Latex demonstrates superior elasticity, strength and barrier protection. It out performs vinyl as well as any synthetic rubber in terms of maintaining barrier integrity in routine and high risks procedures.

Why cant I use oil-based lotions before I wear a latex glove?

The reason why you can't use oil-based lotions before you wear a latex glove is because oil weakens the latex, allowing the glove to tear easily.

Can I use hand lotion before I put on a latex glove?

You can use a hand lotion before you put on a latex glove in case the lotion is water-based. Oil can weaken latex and eventually tear it.

My disposal just hums. It doesn't seem to be jammed, and the reset button doesn't fix it. It rotates in both directions freely when using the Allen wrench. I noticed also that the PVC pipes were corroded...

1) As a former house-painter I can say that latex paint is water soluble and would never dry inside damp environment like a disposal. It would simply dilute and wash down the drain. If water still goes down the drain, then there's no latex paint in there.

2) Latex would not gum up the bearings either since the motor and bearings are sealed apart from the chop and drain areas. And the wrench rotates easily so the bearings are fine.

3) It sounds like your disposal just stopped working. Motors slow down and begin to overheat, and eventually all motors stop working.
There are no repair parts for disposals.

4) The renter is not to blame. The leaking tubular drain pipes say that general property maintenance is behind schedule, so it would be hard to collect damages in front of a judge.
On the positive side, the leak did not cause major damage to the cabinet and floor, and I've seen that problem a lot, and it's expensive to repair. So if problem is just the disposal, then that's cheap enough to fix yourself.

5) I wrote EZ steps for replacing disposal plus tips for permanently fixing tubular pipes from days when I worked apartment maintenance. This information could be a money-saver.

How do you change the car battery on a 2002 lexus es300

This is a simple procedure, but acid is involved. Wear old clothes and latex gloves and safety glasses.
The battery is visible under the hood. Disconnect the RED positive cable first, often with a 10mm wrench, gently turning the nut counter clockwise.. Hold the cable clamp with a latex gloved hand while doing so and do not twist the wrench unless the clamp is secure or you could snap a battery post. BE Cautious not to touch your wrench to any other metal during the procedure.Next remove the negative cable, same way.
Match the battery with a new one , same dimension, EXACT same terminal locations.
You will generally want a battery with a minimum of 500 CCA rating, this is Cold Cranking Amps. Installation is reverse of removal, clean clamps first with tooth brush, baking soda and water .
Be safe wash your hands and wear goggles or SAFETY GLASSES just in case. ACID will burn your skin and clothes if you tip or spill or break the battery. Dispose of the old one at your battery store. Carry in a rubber bin.
