"Out Of Range"

Every time I switched on the photocopier to do a photo copy it always
gives this message " Out Of Range".

I asked the company which I have bought the copier from in Lae city
Papua New Guinea and they don't know how to fix it.

It is a new photocopier. Please help me to solve this problem.

Regards,
Peter Devis.

I am to undersatnd that you've got a Samsung SCX 4521F - firstly anything Samsung make is terrible. I have watched service managers resign after the owner take on a Samsung dealership. I would probably go to their Aussie site

http://www.samsung.com/au/support/download/supportDownDetail.do?group=&type=&subtype=&model_nm=SCX-4216F&disp_nm=SCX-4216F&language=&cate_type=all&mType=UM&dType=D&vType=&cttID=545400&prd_ia_cd=06010300&model_cd=&menu=download&menu2=detail

if not give them a call. Good luck because my experience of them has been hopeless.

I'm trying to photocopy and it does 1 pg and then displays the error: 0xf13a0012 on printer!! what does it mean??

I typed up a note, and when I slipped my finger on my laptop it just went "poof." Anyway, just ask that question of Google. Simply give name and model of printer plus the error message. I've done this trick many times. Someone will have answered it I'm pretty sure. It always amazes me. I don't care for HP techs. They are outsourced and they go into overkill and confusion which drives me nuts. I found this place by posting a question in Google, and I got a great answer. Good luck.

I have an epson DX4050. I currently have a full blank ink cartridge but have one empty colour catridge and 2 other colour catridges which are running low. I want to photocopy a peice of document in black...

First, using B & W to copy a photo will cause large black blotches.

B & W are actually made up of shades of Black. To get the best quality for a B & W photo, switch to "Grayscale"

Next, is the black cartridge full? Are you using any type of refilled (absolutely worst possible choice) or a third party cartridge (second worst possible choice).

Do i need a computer to photo copy? i

No you should not need a computer use the photocopy function on a all in one printer. In any case you may be able to buy a just a copier without the print function cheaper. Remember ink in ink jet printers are expensive

How to photocopy double sided A4 sheets?

Hi,

you copy first side normaly. then on left side open bypass deck.Put the paper, so that the side on wich you want to print is down. Automatically when you put paper in bypass, the machine ask you wich format is it ( eg. A4 ), confirm with OK, then you need to tell machine wich type of paper ( eg. plain paper ) and OK. then green copy key.
