Water-skiing is a sport activity where an individual has to hold on to a ski-rope while being towed by a powerboat. Using one or two skis, the individual rides the water. Beginners usually start off wearing two skis, while more advanced individuals wear just one.

What is more difficult, sit-down hydrofoil or water-skiing?

What are the different types of water-skis?

The different types of water-skis are: combination pairs, slalom skis (one ski), and trick skis. Combination pairs are the most popular type and are used by beginners due to the ease of their use. Slalom skis are more advanced than combination pairs, which make them more difficult to learn. Good thing about them is that you can reach a greater speed with them and making sharp turns. Trick skis are used by individuals who want perform all kinds of tricks (jumping, spinning, and other tricks).
