The most recommended colors for starters are red, blue, yellow, white, black, brown, green, orange and purple. You will also want to purchase stiff bristled brushes for painting and a palette of your choice.

What is watercolor?

Watercolor paint sets are similar to oil paint sets, but instead of oils they are stocked with watercolor paint. Grade schools and middle schools students use them often because they are not toxic and are very safe for children to touch, paint with and use in general.

Trouble starting after clutch/flywheel replacement

if starter does'nt turn over or only sometimes turns over the problem is the bolts that hold starter in there is something covering them (Sealant,Oil,Grease,Paint) the bottom of these bolts must be bare metal to provide A good ground for starter a quick ck of this to confim can be done with a jumper cable one end of cable on battery negative term and other to back cover of starter (scrape paint) do not let it hit starter power wire (red) turnn key if it works correctly you know you have a bad ground
bad engine grounds can also affect dash gauges from providing a believable reading and also electronic engine mgmt controlls

The thing that looks like a small solenoid on the bottom of the oil tank is the starter relay. It has three terminals on it. One terminal should be red wire and should have battery voltage on it when you turn the switch on. One wire should come from the start button and the other should go to the small terminal on the starter solenoid. Contact me directly at wd4ity@bellsouth.net. I'll send you a schematic that shows how it's supposed to be wired. Look on the solenoid and see if you see some small numbers around each of the electrical connections. Also, the bolts that hold the relay on act as a ground. If you had the oil tank painted, you may not have a good ground connection on it.

Good Luck

Does your starter have a good ground now after the paint job??? If you jump from the battery to the starter side of the solenoid, do you get any results?

If you have good power and the starter is known good, your solenoid could be faulty.

1996 jeep cherokee sport starter

disconnect the battery, negative side first.
remove both positive wires from the starter.
remove the bolts from the starter.
install new starter.
make sure positive starter wires are free of corrosion and rust, use sand paper or a file.
tighten positive wires just snug, then another 1/4 turn, ** not too tight or you will snap the stud off the starter solenoid**.
coat wire ends and starter studs with die-electric grease, battery protector, spray paint , or something non metalic.
connect vehice battery, negative side last.

I suggest that you go to the Library and look up how to airbrush. The paint goes into the cup. Nozzle adjustments are learned as you go, for desired results. Good luck
