You can use cuticle oils or paraffin treatments to massage into the nail and this will help strengthen the nail.

After doing my brisa gel nails I noticed the product separating from the tips. What did I do wrong?

If you have any trouble with your Brisa gel nails, there are several instances that may cause problems such as peeling and lifting. If the gel is allowed to touch the skin, cuticles, or sidewalls, peeling may occur. Peeling is also not uncommon if too thin a layer of gel has been applied. It is important to apply several thin layers to build up the strength and create an apex. Also, Brisa Bond must be cured under the UV light for 10 seconds or peeling may occur. Lifting may occur if you have not done a thorough preparation of the nails before applying the product.
Be sure to keep the gel in the pot away from the UV light. If uncapped pots are exposed to the light for long periods of time, the gel will turn hard and be unusable.

Brisa gel is hypoallergenic, but that doesn't mean that you won't be allergic to it. Being hypoallergenic simply means that a person is less likely to be sensitive to the product, because it doesn't contain some of the chemicals that other gel systems do.
Good Luck!

Brad nail only goes 1/2" into wood. there is no

You might get better penetration if you use your other hand to press the gun down firmly onto the surface before you pull the trigger. (This will help if the gun tends to jump a little when you fire it.) Or, if the surface you are firing into might not be rigid enough (like a thin board that is not supported) - in that case you might improve the penetration by better supporting the surface you are nailing into, perhaps by placing it on the floor. On the other hand, this may simply be a case that the gun is not powerful enough to do what you want it to do. To test that theory, try it into a piece of soft wood (like a 2X4) or find a soft thick material as a first layer over the wood you are using. Perhaps you can use shorter nails - thin brads in wood don't gain much strength beyond 1/2 inch penetration anyway. The length of the brad only needs to be about 1/2 inch longer than the thickness of the first layer of material. I hope this helps, good luck Al K

I have roughed up the nail....applied bond aid once (even tried twice) but nails tend to get soft and can be easily peeled off. What can I do to avoid this?

Hello Dear

Soften nail is due to the soakness. Stop soaking your nails in the gel.
If they get soft then apply Almond Oil and Olive oil mixture and massage on your nail for 5 mins then after half hour Wash your hand and apply any misturizing lotion on to your hand.
Breaking or softing of the nail will quit after a week.
Aviod Soaking your hands for more than 5 mins.
Avoid Dish washing. if its necessory then wear gloves.

Can't peel off label backing-have short weak nails

Most brother labels peel by gently folding the label in half the long way. No need to separate with your nails.
