Yes, we have one and my daughter loves it. Her friends come round and they do talent shows for each other. I bought one that comes with a stand so that it feels even more authentic. It's a bit noisy but I think it's a great gift.

I hear a "pop" from the microphone when singing. What causes this?

very common problem caused by pressure waves, try singing off mic but on axis so maybe a 6inches away.
or buy a pop shield (transparent audio foam to cover the mic capsule)

should sort it out, if this does not work then the mic may be damaged.

hope this helps
thanks for using FixYa

2-second delay with Magic Sing

i bought et18k. just the same as yours.its 2 days old and has the same problem. the technical assistant says that its because of the digital setting that new tvs have. there are two ways to solve this though:

1. connect the video (yellow plug) to the tv. and the other two plugs (yellow and white) to the stereo. when i say stereo, its not the dvd home theater system that you have but a separate one. if you connect it to the home theater that you have, it'll just sound the same, you still have the delay.

2. connect the magic sing to the older tvs hangin out. and you'll get no problem at all.

**TVs such as sony, samsung, philips, sharp and all plasma tvs including other newly designed tvs will have the delay since they all share the HDMI thingy that causes sh*t.

I got my daughter Wii Rockband-she is so mad and me to because we can't figure out how to let her play it-like play the guitar without the microphone-everytime she tries to play it, it says it doesn't...

Rock Band is a 4 player game, each player taking their own role. They can choose from Guitar, Bass, Drums or Microphone. If your daughter wants to play guitar and sing at the same time, she will need to play a multiplayer game and use 2 Mii profiles, one for guitar and one for singing.
A single player cannot play 2 instruments using the same Mii either. You must use separate profiles.

Have the wii sing it. but microphone does not work

I would unplug the whole system so it will reset everything, leave it unplugged for a few minutes, now Im not sure if it matters wich usb port it plugs into, but my daughter says she always uses the left one and we havent had a problem with any of the sing it games.
