Is there a website that specializes in musical toys for kids? I am looking for toys that are not the usual boring drum type thing that they sell in most toy shops.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

Toddlers will usually spend hours in the sand, building things, making pretend food and generally just getting very messy in the sand. Buckets and spades never seem to get boring for kids, but if you want to branch out, there are sand toys that come in all sorts of shapes, such as a cup cake set or a baking set.

I want to buy some musical toys for my toddler and newborn. Is there a toy that combines several in to one? Or do I need to buy lots of different toys.

You can buy them separately if you want to pick specific items that you know your kids will like, but I did come across a one man band type toy that had combines 10 musical instruments into the one bench. It looks very cute and is wooden which I think is a real plus.

Take a look at the link; http://www.borngifted.co.uk/baby-gifts/product/BG-1621

Are there any musical toys that are educational?

The Educational Toys Planet website has a really good range of musical toys for kids that have educational content. I think their stuff is a really good balance between teaching kids something about music but also making it fun.

Any advice about using musical toys with kids? I am a new parent and need some tips.

Musical toys can be a great way to entertain kids and introduce them gently to the world of music.

Take a look at this YouTube video which is a good but short guide to different musical instruments.

I am going to buy an electronic keyboard for my kids, maybe with a drum set etc too. Are there any makes that people can recommend that I look for?

I always buy Yamaha or Casio when it comes to electronic keyboards for kids. I think their products are well made but also are more affordable than some of the more professionally aimed products.

My kid wants to learn an instrument. She is only 4 so at this stage it is just a mucking around thing. Should I buy an electric guitar or keyboard?

You should follow your kid's interest. Take them to a musical shop or a toy shop and let them play around and see which type of instrument they are more drawn too. The best thing is to keep it fun and not put pressure on your child to take it too seriously at this age.

I need to buy a musical table for my niece's birthday. What is it?

A musical table is table-shaped toy for toddlers. It usually involves lots of different things to push and spin and buttons that play music. Musical tables are toys that are meant to be educational while being fun.
Here is an example of a musical table for sale on ebay:

Any suggestions for a shape sorter toy that is not the usual toy of putting boring plastic shapes into the box?

You can try these Noah's Ark shape sorters available on Amazon that are shaped like animals.

or this clock shaped sorter: http://www.amazon.com/Melissa-Doug-Wooden-Shape-Sorting/dp/B000GKATU0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1361430533&sr=8-1&keywords=shape+sorter+for+kids
Definitely not your run-of-the-mill circle in the circle hole shape sorter. Hope I helped!

Wooden Blocks Toys problems

When first choosing a toy for a child, it is best to determine if the toy is age appropriate. The toy packaging usually has age recommendations. Companies take the time to research and test their toys before they put them out on the market. It is always best to monitor your child, especially a toddler, with any toy. Kids seem to have the knack for finding a weak spot with things whether they want to or not. Best rule of thumb is if a toy is smaller than the palm of your childs hand or if it can fit in their mouth, don't let them play with it. Children are special gifts. Let's protect them at all costs. Good luck.
