Hi, I wanted to check with you if you can help me with information regarding Service center for Ipaqs in India. I have an Ipaq (bought in US) for which I need a spare battery door and I am not able to source the same. I am located in Hyderabad. Any contact information would be of enormous assistance. Thanks, Kanchan

The IPAQ 6515 will only work with GSM Simm and network. It is also NOT 3G compatible.
You can verify that the 6515 is working with another network SIMM, then it is likely that your Simm card is not compatible and may in fact be design on Afghanistan's 'Analog' network.
Incidentally, the 6515 will also not work in Japan even with a working 'roaming' SIMM as the Japanese Mobile Network is also not compatible!
Hope it helps!
The HP IPAQ 6515 will support WLAN access via a SDIO WIFI card (which looks like a 'long' standard SD card): it is just a bit tricky to get this add-onl SDIO WIFI card to work properly!

Hi, most iPAQs have a soft reset at the bottom right which can be pressed with the use of the stylus. also, there is a hard on/off switch (which erases most info) on the bottom left inside a small/narrow slot/hole.
A far more detailed instructions may be found at the manufacturer's website as well as the manual(s) that you probably need.
Hope this be of some help to you. Good luck.
