You can look or ebay or try sites like this one: http://www.theteapotshoppe.com/vintageteaware.html

Just make sure you are buying from a reputable site.

You can try and source one from the manufacturer or maybe easier to simply try a local hardware store and try to locate the correct one.

How do you remove stains from bone china?

You have to be really careful when you clean your bone china. I have a teapot and teacup set that's really delicate and stains really easily. I wash the china in warm water with a mild dish detergent. I was told never to use scouring pads or any other abrasives like that. You can actually use nail polish remover on really hard stains but apply it with a cotton bud and make sure you rinse it off really well with soap afterwards.

What is a teapot for one?

Teapots for one are exactly that - they are teapots that are very small and so make only enough tea for one person (although usually at least 2 cups).

Hi, my husband bought me your KAMENSTEIN WORLD OF MOTION SERIES ANIMATED HORSE CAROUSEL many years ago. I did not keep the box or manual and now I want to ask can you e-Mail me a download or one I can...

I cannot loacte an actual manual but....The Kamenstein Carousel teapot was part of the MKI versions of teapots Kamenstein released in the mid-2000s. The teapots came in a range of colors, from blue to red, and they had a small carousel on the top. As the water boils the carousel spins around, bringing an element of whimsy to your tea time. The teapots are all metal and can be used on any type of stove top.
Instructions

    • 1 Fill the Kamenstein Carousel teapot with water just below the sprout.
    • 2 Place the Kamenstein Carousel teapot on the stove and set the heat to "Medium."
    • 3 Allow the water to come to a boil and remove the Kamenstein Carousel teapot from the stove.
    • 4 Pour the hot water into a cup over a tea bag.

With a big city nearby, you should have no problem finding someone who can repair your vintage device, I don't blame you for wanting to keep it, they had a nice mellow sound and are getting rare. For a bit people were just junking these things, (which contributes to their value). You don't say if the other functions still work so not sure how much this might cost to repair. Parts for this old of device may be hard to find, but if you look in the yellow pages under TV repair or Electronics Repair, look for a small "mom and pop" type of repair shop, the older the better since they may have the parts you need in their storage room. have fun and while I can't say what its worth, why would it matter if you love it anyway. I have stuff like this and keep it for the same reason you do, the modern stuff doesn't have the class or the sound of the old stuff.

Get some araldite (epoxy resin) mix equal quantities of the resin and the hardener and somehow glue it together. This stuff is strong once dried and is heat resistant and as far as I know...non-toxic once dried.

It will be a bit fiddly though, and you should use a little hand held clamp to keep the pieces together as tightly as possible until it hardens.
