SOURCE: My Sony remote is RM-YD024 - I am trying to find

Here are all the codes for your Denon DVD player.

30490, 30634, 31634

Just in case you don't have the manual I also included the steps to input the codes.
Hope this helps

Follow these steps to program the remote control.
NOTE: Even though the FUNCTION buttons are labeled for specific components, they can be programmed to operate any type of equipment that is compatible with this remote control. For example, the BD/DVD function can be programmed to operate a VCR, AV receiver, etc.

  1. Turn on the component to be programmed.
  2. On the remote control, press and hold the INPUT button.
  3. While holding INPUT button, press the FUNCTION button for the desired component.
  4. Release both buttons.
  5. NOTE: The FUNCTION button will blink for approximately 30 seconds or until a code is entered.
  6. Using the number pad, enter the component's manufacturer code.
  7. NOTE: If more than one code number is listed for the manufacturer, enter one code at a time until you find one that works.
  8. Press the ENT button.
  9. NOTE: The FUNCTION will blink twice if the programming is successful, if not, it will blink five times.
  10. Point the remote control at the component.
  11. Press the component POWER button to verify operation.
NOTES:
  • If a new code number is entered, the code number previously entered will be erased.
  • When the batteries are replaced, the programmed codes may be erased. It may be necessary to reprogram the remote after replacing the batteries.
  • Some product functions may not be able to be controlled by the remote control. Use the remote control provided with the component.
  • In some rare cases, you may not be able to operate your non-Sony equipment with the supplied remote control. This is because your equipment may use a code that is not provided with this remote control. In this case, use the remote control that was provided with the equipment or purchase a universal remote control that has a learning function.
  • If programming fails, it may be necessary to reset the remote control. To reset the remote control, remove the batteries and press each button on the remote control twice.

SOURCE: All the buttons on my

Your remote control's internal button contacts on the circuit board may just need cleaning. If there is some residue, or debris, or oxidation inside on the surface of the circuit board it may be interfering with the correct operation of only a few buttons in particular.

It does not sound like a battery connection issue or a bad transmitter since most of the other buttons work fine.

You can try unscrewing, and disassembling the remote control in order to access the contact pads on the circuit board.

First check if there are any screws holding the remote control halves together. Be sure to open up and look inside the battery compartment as well. Once all the holding screws are removed, then gently pry the two halves of the remote control apart.

Use a cloth or a paper towel and some Isopropyl alcohol to clean off the surface of the circuit board and the underside of the button pads. Now check the circuit board for any signs of excessive wear, cracks, or oxidation on the copper contacts. You can use a pencil eraser to gently polish the copper contact pads on the circuit board if necessary. Once the unit is cleaned, just reassemble it and replace the screws and then try it out.

If you did see any significant damage inside or cracks in the circuit board, then you are probably going to have to eventually replace the remote. A wide variety of universal remotes to suit your needs and budget are available at any decent electronics store.

Please comment back here to this page if you have any questions, or just require further general assistance and I will respond as soon as I see it.

Thank you very much and good luck.

I had the same issue. You can use the on screen volume buttons on screen to stop issue and don't use the physical buttons anymore. Watch out about a month after the volume problem started all physical buttons on my DXN7120 stopped working. There are a few reports of this online, I have not found a fix yet.

Seems like a known issue with the W902. Same here, dropped my w902 a few months back and the Walkman button and Volume up keys not workin now.

Walkman button not really an issue as you still can navigate to it via the menu system but no volume UP key is annoying. You can't increase volume especially when you volume it down. Power the w902 down and up, will reset volume to 6/10.

Solution: I came across a site where you can change volume without the volume up key.

1. Ensure you lock the phone (* and Contact key)

2. While holding down the disconnect button (the one that you switch the phone off) and camera button (on the right side, bottom button), pressing 7 will decrease volume while * key will increase volume.

You need to hold both button for 7 and * to work. Works great for me as I dont have to replace my phone, hope this help.

Keypad not working v9 moto

The volume buttons on the side of the phone are sticking. My up volume button seemed fine, but someone told me to keep pushing it and the button will release. Sure enough, the volume controls started to work. I played with both the up and down buttons some more and the button below started working. A few more minutes monkeying around with the volume buttons and now all the buttons work.

My volume button also broke (actually, the VOLUME UP function stopped working). Rather than trying to get the remote fixed, I found a different solution...
I reprogrammed the + key (bottom left of the remote) to be my new Volume UP function. You can do this by going to any of the activities you've already defined, and adding a custom button to the activity.
Choose the + button (it will probably not have an existing function), and tell it to use the Volume Up function of the component you normally use for volume. In my case, it was the Home Theater Receiver.
I hope that helps.

Hi.  I had a similar problem but only the down volume buttonw worked (which meant that my volume was at 1 but I couldn't get it to go any higher).  If you are able to use one of the volume buttons, press it once to take you to the voulme control screen; then use the centre button to conrol up and down using left and right.
