you actually should be able to "FLASH" your bios through windows.

1st remove ur mother board battery and clear cmos and press reset when machine start then shut down and change a new battery and fixd cmos. i hope ur problem will solv

try all these passwords from what you described it looks like a system disabled password and i'm guessing you have pheonix bios therefore i generated some passwords with the code you provided hopefully it helps and works

System incompatibility issue. I have mo bo that will not work with XP but works fine with Win 98. Happens and nada you can do about it except get mo bo that works.

Phoenix bios D686 (1999)


Go to the BIOS setup and find the Boot Seuence. Select Hard Disk first and if Hard Disk in blank, Boot from CD and install Operating System. This error usually comes when BIOS do not find the Boot Record on Hard Disk. (ehteshamhusain@gmail.com)
