1. The phone will have static during calls then turn itself off. I have to remove the battery to turn the phone back on. Sometimes it will show a low battery even if the phone is fully charged.

My Blackberry Curve has static during calls also. AT&T sent me a new phone and I got a new sim card, but that doesn't seem to fix the problem. It's so annoying. Help :(

Static starts after a couple minutes on a call. I will see if it stops when the phone is plugged in.

I have been having the same problem. I have a lot of static and the battery goes down fast. It will also just cut off while I am talking, then I have to take the battery out and put it back in. I contacted AT&T, they sent me a replacement phone. I put the battery in that one and the phone began to have static too. I called AT&T again and asked them could it be the battery causing the phone to have static and he said no. After reading the other comments and answers to this problem. I believe the battery is causing the static. I will replace the battery and see if this works.

I had the same problem also

  • Anonymous Apr 26, 2009

static during calls, then the phone shuts off, seemingly randomly. plugging it into a charger or pulling the battery is the only way to make it reset.

My 8320 had the same problem as daisy's. In addition to camera's colors were wacked. Like negative images or something...Anyways..I noticed when my phone was plugged in, the problems disappeared. So i purchased a new (non-OEM..paid like 15$) battery online and the problems disappeared. Has been fine for about two months since doing this.

It could be that you still have the font screen sticker protection on?

HTC s620 freezes with incoming texts

I suggest take it to a service center store that deals with your service carrier and request to have it flashed. Keep in mind that you have to backup all of your info in that phone since the "flash" is going to delete it all. Good luck.

How to take iPod Touch to the Max

One thing that is attractive to the iPhone and iPod touch is the hardware. The robust and compact design is lightweight and easy to handle. There is little variation in design as they are all in color black with coal even the same black plain background. Apple, you can choose a custom image for the background, but that's about all the changes allowed. There are some things you can do to get out of your iPod touch.

1. Jailbreak the iPod touch. The jailbreak installs a program on your desktop called Cydia that access to third-party applications contains. The iPod must be connected to your computer through the USB cable during the jailbreak and usually only lasts a few minutes. The jailbreak tool you use must be compatible with the firmware version of your device.

2. Install a theme. Themes are available in Cydia and customize your iPod with a bottom, custom fonts and sounds. This is the most creative ways to your iPod touch the rest.

3. Create folders for your applications. If you have a lot of downloading, the screen quickly filled with applications that are hard to find. You can search for a specific application using the search screen, but it's annoying. Drag an icon on the top half icon to merge them into one folder. Enter a name for the folder in the box that will help you identify. Classify applications in any way, such as alphabetically or by categories.

4. Buy a box of rubber boot. There are many different styles available, and some additional features such as a belt clip or stand. The hard plastic cases are cheap but offer good protection against falling. A case of rubber is ideal because the iPod touch has a very smooth surface. In these cases provides a good grip and add thickness, making it easier to handle.

5. Download a VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) app on the App Store. VOIP uses your WiFi to make calls just like a real phone. You need a headset with a microphone and an Internet connection high speed, high quality talks. Some applications are offering free VOIP: Voice Textree, iCall and Fring.
User hears faint static while on a call. It's not load enough to make it hard to hear the caller, but a noticable crackling/static noise can be heard in the background. happens on every call.

Cell phones transmit the sound as digital data. The data when converted back to analog to listen too CAN have "digitizing noise" which will sound like static.

WORSENING the problem is if there is noise in the background of the person sending the voice and the worst possiblle is to have MUSIC in the background. These both drive the CODEC (the analog conversion system) crazy and will create what you describe. The CODEC is designed to transmit ONLY voice.
