I deleted the wireless internet off my desktop. Can I get it back?

Wireless is acctually located in you Control Panel. If it was on desktop it would be just a shortcut. If you click on start, control panel and then depending are you in classic view or category view you will see icon that says network connections or internet and network connections in windows xp or network and sharing center in wondows 7 and vista. Once open you will see option for wireless connection. If you actually deleted drivers for wireless then you need your original cd with drivers to install it again. Just open the cd and install the wireless drivers.Hope this helps.

I have not found any sound device in my desktop.. even the one that you have described. the yellow questionmark was not present... actually i lost and incidentally uninstall its audio device.. how am i...

For Windows Xp...........
If you have installed a audio device then
    1. Open Device Manager.
    2. Double-click Sound, video and game controllers, right-click your sound device, and then click Properties.
    3. On the Driver tab, if the Roll Back Driver option is available, click it to restore the last known good driver.
    4. If the Roll Back Driver option is unavailable or does not solve the problem, there is no last known good driver. Reinstall the driver that came with your sound device (you will need the disk that came with your sound device):
      1. Click Update Driver.
      2. Click Install from a list or specific location, and then click Next.
      3. Click Don't search. I will choose the driver to install, and then click Next.
      4. Click Have Disk, and then follow the instructions to install the driver from your install disk.

To make it easy for you this is the default audio driver for Dimension 2400 systems. Click on this link ---> http://support.dell.com/support/topics/global.aspx/support/downloads/en/downloads_splash?c=us&l=en&s=gen&~mode=popup&file=122481
this would install your integrated audio driver for your system.
Let me know if this resolved this issue.

Need Drivers

Actually you need to install chipset drivers first then you shoud try for additiona PCI driver like external sound card.
Try one thing again, go to your www.acer.com site and search driver as per your "Service tag no." not for model no. and download drivers for 'Chipset' and others as per your requirement.

Thanks
