Question about Gateway 2520915 Keyboard
I bought a gateway computer with a wireless keyboard. i install the battery but the keyboard is not working. what should I do.
Is your battery brand new? install a new one, if the problem exist, try to unplug and plug again the usb keyboard receiver, if the problem goes again, you need to contact your keyboard's manufacturer since it is a newly bought, it is still under a warranty. so you must contact them, to have your keyboard replace by a working one

Insert the installation CD that came with your wireless keyboard set into your computer's CD-ROM drive.
Use the CD to install the drivers for the wireless peripherals.
Insert batteries into the keyboard .
Use a screwdriver to remove any screws that hold the battery bay covers closed.
Connect the wireless signal receiver to your computer.
Receivers for wireless keyboard and mouse sets usually use a USB connector.
Your computer will automatically detect the receiver.
Turn on your keyboard if the devices have power buttons.
Press the "Sync," "Connect" or "Pair" buttons on the keyboard , depending on your model.
If present, press the "Connect" button on the wireless signal receiver as well.
Your wireless keyboard set is now connected.

if its a wireless mouse and keyboard make sure the batteries are securely seated and fully charged the battery panel should be on the underside of your mouse keyboard as would be the on off switch
click start control panel keyboard hardware make sure the right type of keyboard is selected
click start control panel keyboard hardware troubleshoot or click start control panel administration tools computer management device manager scroll to keyboard you could see a yellow question/exclamation mark ? ! or red X a new driver will need to be installed
right click to install drivers
