You can do a pregnancy test from the first day of your missed period. If you're not sure when your next period is due, you can do a pregnancy test 21 days (three weeks) after your last meet.

That really varies. Some people could get a result on a home pregnancy test within 10-14 days after ovulation but most people need to wait until the first day of a missed period.

Okay so me and my significant other are trying to conceive. We had unprotected sex a few days before my ovulation day and the day after.?

Your early pregnancy test is not going to tell you now if you are pregnant or not. You need to wait until 7 days after your period would usually start to take a pregnancy test, even an early pregnancy test.

The symptoms that you described could be PMS; they could also be brought on by stress (which you might have worrying about if you are pregnant or not); additionally, you mentioned discharge but not what color it is. If the discharge is brown it is old blood that your body is getting rid of; if it's white or yellowish in color it's an infection; if it's pink or red spotting, it could be breakthrough bleeding which might occur instead of your period.

The symptoms you described are also very common with a ******* tract infection. Especially the frequent urination. Have you take an over the counter test for a UTI? I recommend you do that first, before you take another pregnancy test.

I wish you the best of luck, try not to worry. Wait until your period has passed (whether you get it or not) before you start worrying!

Can I take birth control while pregnant? I dont want twins!?

Taking birth control while you are pregnant could hurt the baby, but has nothing to do with twins. If you are already pregnant you can't get pregnant again at the same time. Twins occur when you produce 2 eggs while ovulating or if the 1 egg you produce during ovulation splits in 2-for twins,3-for triplets etc. Please go to an obstetrician and he or she can answer all of your questions.

Can having *** after ovulation stop pregnancy

No. If you didn't fall pregnant at ovulation then having *** after means you are unlikely to become pregnant that month. But if you already fell pregnant it won't stop that pregnancy... Otherwise you would have to go the entire 9 months of pregnancy without having *** and you don't have to do that! (unless recommended by a doctor to abstain!)

I got a positive result on a home pregnancy test and then got my period 2 days later. I am so confused, what does it mean? Am I pregnant or not?

having a
positive pregnancy test result and then getting your period is understandably
confusing. It could mean a few things:

1. The pregnancy test was faulty and
gave you a false positive result

2. You may have suffered a natural loss
in the early stages of pregnancy (actually not an uncommon thing to happen).

3. If you had a recent miscarriage,
termination or are taking HCG medications, it maybe that the HCG levels in your
urine were high and gave a false positive result.

The best solution is to go and see your doctor who can help
clarify exactly what your situation is.

Can I take a pregnancy test before I have even missed my period?

You can buy
pregnancy tests that are super sensitive and claim to detect pregnancy within 7
days of fertilization but you are more likely to get an accurate result if you
wait longer. Once you have missed your period, you can take a pregnancy test
and it will be easier to detect HCG levels in your urine if you are actually
pregnant.

Hi I just recieved my blood test results & I have abnormal progestrone levels. what does this mean and is this serious?

Progesterone is a steroid hormone involved in the female menstrual cycle, pregnancy (supports gestation) and embryogenesis of humans and other species. Progesterone belongs to a class of hormones called progestogens, and is the major naturally occurring human progestogene.
In women, progesterone levels are relatively low during the preovulatory phase of the menstrual cycle, rise after ovulation, and are elevated during the luteal phase. Progesterone levels tend to be < 2 ng/ml prior to ovulation, and > 5 ng/ml after ovulation. If pregnancy occurs, progesterone levels are initially maintained at luteal levels. With the onset of the luteal-placental shift in progesterone support of the pregnancy, levels start to rise further and may reach 100-200 ng/ml at term. Whether a decrease in progesterone levels is critical for the initiation of labor has been argued and may be species-specific. After delivery of the placenta and during lactation, progesterone levels are very low. Progesterone levels are relatively low in children and postmenopausal women.[19] Adult males have levels similar to those in women during the follicular phase of the menstrual cycle.
Depending on the level actually, it could post to be a very serious threat or not so harmful,
The best way to go about this is to see a doctor and see if they have anything supplements regarding your issue of progesterone. They should be able to help you out on this situation.
Hope this helps? Please comment for more information and thank you for using fixya.
