Question about Onkyo Audio Players & Recorders
Hi and welcome to FixYa,
While some other areas of a receiver would be relatively easy to repair down component level, sound/video processors are relatively a different breed. More often than not, repairs of this kind involve modular replacement rather than component. Having said this, then foremost factor to be considered would be availability of the board, cost, time element and the repair itself. It would also be to your advantage getting access on a service manual or at the very least a schematic diagram.
Would appreciate updates on any development on the project. Good luck and thank you for using FixYa.
