Power off the computer and make sure that it is unplugged.
Open up your computer case. You need physical access to the motherboard to complete this procedure.

Find a circular, (mostly) silver metallic object on the motherboard. This is the CMOS battery.
CAREFULLY remove the CMOS battery, avoid touching it with your fingers, and leave it out for about 120 seconds. This will flush the CMOS memory which stores the BIOS password and all other configuration. (See Warnings)
Set the battery back into place and power on the computer.
The computer should then warn you that the CMOS configuration could not be found. You can either reconfigure it yourself or restore defaults. Restoring the default configuration should be fine.
You will notice that the BIOS password has been cleared and you can boot without it. You may reset the BIOS password to something else by going into the BIOS configuration and setting a new User Password (The Supervisor Password controls access to the BIOS, NOT the computer!)

Laptop
Remember that laptops can be trickier, especially if it's a newer model. If it has a security chip on the motherboard forget about it. You either have to physically remove the chip or contact the mfg for the "master" password. If you can boot up off of a cd or floppy try any of these methods:Create a Win98SE bootable media "or anything that lets you boot into MS-DOS" and boot off of it.
When the A:\> prompt appears type debug and press enter.
You will then only see a "-".
Type o 70 2E "include the spaces" and press Enter.
Type o 71 ff "include the spaces" and press Enter.
Type q and press Enter.
Here are a list of common mfg backdoor passwords:
AWARD BIOS
AWARD SW, AWARD_SW, Award SW, AWARD PW, _award, awkward, J64, j256, j262, j332, j322, 01322222, 589589, 589721, 595595, 598598, HLT, SER, SKY_FOX, aLLy, aLLY, Condo, CONCAT, TTPTHA, aPAf, HLT, KDD, ZBAAACA, ZAAADA, ZJAAADC, djonet, %øåñòü ïpîáåëîâ%, %äåâÿòü ïpîáåëîâ%
AMI BIOS
AMI, A.M.I., AMI SW, AMI_SW, BIOS, PASSWORD, HEWITT RAND, Oder

Other passwords you may try (for AMI/AWARD or other BIOSes) - LKWPETER, lkwpeter, BIOSTAR, biostar, BIOSSTAR, biosstar, ALFAROME, Syxz, Wodj gvs

Unlock my asus from bios

If you mean you have to enter a password to get into Bios then do the following....

Simply remove the CMOS battery. A computer will remember its settings and keep the time even when it is turned off and unplugged because these parts are powered by small battery inside the computer called a CMOS battery. If we pull out this battery, the computer will forget alot of its hardware settings, including its BIOS password. This should not be performed on Laptops if you are not experienced working with laptop hardware.

As far as I am aware, if you have a Windows password on your computer after startup, you can do nothing in Bios or CMOS to get rid of it. The best solution is to re-install Windows after formatting the Hard Disk. Of course you will lose all of your data then.

Dell Vostro 1500 Password Help

There are many types of passwords for Dells. Is the password set for Windows (on the welcome screen). This would be the easiest, you could simply restore the laptop and reinstall Windows if you dont mind losing all your files. If the files are important then there is software available that will allow you to reset the Windows password, such as 'Any password recovery'. If the password you set is through your BIOS, then the easiest way around this is to go on eBay, search Dell password, the seller will simply send you the master password using the servicetag you provide him, will cost you around 5-10$ max.

Power-on password on hp 8510p

Power On Password & Hard Disk Password
With your next laptop you should protect it with a Power On Password AND put a password on your hard disk. This will stop anyone from using your laptop and if they move the hard disk from your laptop to another laptop they cannot access the data on your hard disk with the hard disk password.
BUT you need to write down or remember these passwords; if you lose or forget them you cannot gain access to your laptop.
There are no backdoor passwords to remove these passwords.
To set up or change these passwords, go to the BIOS configuration - then security configuration. http://techtips.salon.com/reset-hp-laptop-bios-password-1476.html

Laptop bios password

Flashing the BIOS will clear your password, but you may lose other settings in the CMOS. The best solution is to move the Motherboard Jumper. That will clear the password only.

Remove toshiba password from bios satellite 3000-x4

The Basic Input/Output System (BIOS) password is not set by default on Toshiba laptops. When set, the BIOS password must be entered every time you turn on your Toshiba or wake your system from Standby mode. If you forget the password, you cannot boot your system. Prevent having to enter a password or the results of forgetting the password by removing the BIOS password from your Toshiba laptop. Other types of passwords can be set, such as a Windows password, to prevent unauthorized access to your machine.

1. Turn off your Toshiba laptop.

2. Wait 30 seconds and turn your laptop back on.

3. Press "F2" repeatedly as soon your Toshiba laptop begins booting until the BIOS menu screen appears.

4. Enter your existing BIOS password and press "Enter."

5. Press "F2" again to enter the BIOS, if prompted.

6. Use your arrow keys to select the "Security" tab in the BIOS menu.

7. Use the arrow keys to select "Set User Password."

8. Press either "F5" or "F6," depending on your Toshiba laptop model, to open the Password section.

9. Enter the current password into the "Old Password" prompt and press "Enter."

10. Press "Enter" when the "New Password" prompt appears. Do not enter any text in this box.

11. Press "Enter" again to confirm the new password.

12. Press "F10" to save your changes and exit.

I hope you find it very helpful. Best regards.

Forget my bios password notebook hp 6720s

Removing the RTC battery and leaving it uninstalled for 5 or more minutes causes all passwords and CMOS settings to be cleared. BIOS password can be removed by temporarily disconnecting/ removing the RTC/ CMOS (Coin-cell) battery from the motherboard. Disconnect the coin-cell battery from the system board and it will reset the BIOS to its default setting and the password would be gone.
Please Refer to Page 77 of the REPAIR MANUAL HP 6720S.
If you can't do it yourself, you may seek help from local laptop service professional.

GoodLuck!
Dont forget to appreciate the solution if I could have been of any help!

Bios password reset

from the Toshiba support site

The BIOS and Supervisor passwords cannot be removed or changed unless you know the existing password(s). If you forget your BIOS or Supervisor password, you will have to have the password removed by a Toshiba Authorized Service Provider. Although the prompts for these two passwords have the same appearance, the passwords are set and removed differently. If both are set, the Supervisor password takes precedence.

I assume that the notebook will have a BIOS battery similar to a standard PC. If you are happy to disassembe it you may be able to reset the BIOS by removing the battery and/or locating the bios reset jumper

Another alternative is to If this doesn't work or you dont want to disassemble the PC, you can try to build the Toshiba Parallell loopback.

A lot of Toshiba computers remove the password when you boot it up with the loopback connected

It can be made out of a 25pin male connectors (db25). Connect these pins: 1-5-10, 2-11, 3-17, 4-12, 6-16, 7-13, 8-14, 9-15, 18-25
