Acer speaker audio feedback

Io recently purchased a acer aspire, and the speakers make a dull, yet annoying buzz in the background. this does not effect my music, games or audio, but whenever there is no sound playing, all i hear is the buzzing. also, whenever i plug in a pair of headphones, the sound is just magnified to the point of where i cant hear my music.

I just bought my acer aspire and the speakers intermittantly buzz. It is annoying!

I hear it too and also a high pitch sound. If I plugg in an old set of speakers powered by the wall socket it quits. I wonder if there is interference between the usb and sound? As well, the sound is affected by the movement of the mouse. I updated drivers for video and audio, nothing changed.

Yup same here, Aspire 5920G. Get large amount of speaker feedback when closing lid, touching it or anything. Plays audio well but must turn volume down when not using it. Shame as it's brilliant apart from that.

I Have had my acer laptop for about 4 weeks now. While i play my music there is loud buzzing noises, almost crackeling noises that play with the bass. It comes and goes but like you, i have no idea what to do!. Do i contact the distributer and get it repaired or is it something that i am doing wrong??

well, if you put the green cable on the green connector on your sound card, you,ll be fine, and see if work, fine, depending on your configuration speakers, 5.1 or 2 way, you can test if the sound go on the 2 speakers.you also check if something is bad with the other speakers

hello, check the volume. also the jacks are color coded. green is speakers, pink is mic, blue is line in. if this does not help, consider adding sound card(this will give a better quality of sound than onboard sound) hope this helps! good luck, glen.

Fix subwoofer

Pop open the back side of the sub and see if the to connections are soldered firmly to the wires/drivers themselves & make sure your system is grounded meaning the 3 pronged plug has to have the 3 post still connected to the power cord. If its broken off as most people do it'll cause that feedback or dull hummmmm noise.

Hello! I purchased a pair of M- Audio Av 30 speakers years ago and I've noticed that at times they emit an annoying buzzing sound from the subwoofer parts of each speaker. I normally dont notice it because...

LOL. This is a common, easily solveable problem. Remove your cellphone or anything that emits radiation of any sort from the general area. Don't believe me? send a text message while sitting net to your speakers. It does this even if you arent sending a message because your phone sends intermittent signals to the cell tower. the radiation being emitted from the phone does weird things with the magnets inside the speakers.

Our new Acer netbook needs to be at full volume setting to hear it. If other noise is in the background, it can not be heard. The help line says this is normal for 10 inch netbooks. Any feedback on this.

i used to have an acer too they all seem to be like that, it used to bug me till i decided to hook it up to the home stereo, I recommend getting some small external speakers or headphones.

Annoying buzz on my speakers !!!

sounds like a ground issue. perhaps invest in an isolating 4 way 13 amp power cable as this will suppress any noise potentially being caused by other devices (such as lights) that may be on the same circuit as your audio hardware. failing that it could be that there is some damage to the cable you are using to connect your speakers to your computer. if they cannot be replaced you will need to have the connections serviced.

Webcam audio problem

Normal 0 Two things can cause static.
First, If you have your speakers turned up to high it will give you feedback causing distortion and static. I recommend using a headset when videoing.
Second reason is, if you are using a laptop and have added an external microphone and have a built-in mike, between the two it will cause distortion and static.
Not knowing the configuration of your computer makes it harder to analyze the problem.
So hope this is of some help. Bud

Weird noise from Acer Aspire 3000

When you open the sound control panel, is the mic muted or turned down? The feedback may have been coming from the built-in microphone?
