Acer speaker audio feedback

Io recently purchased a acer aspire, and the speakers make a dull, yet annoying buzz in the background. this does not effect my music, games or audio, but whenever there is no sound playing, all i hear is the buzzing. also, whenever i plug in a pair of headphones, the sound is just magnified to the point of where i cant hear my music.

I just bought my acer aspire and the speakers intermittantly buzz. It is annoying!

I hear it too and also a high pitch sound. If I plugg in an old set of speakers powered by the wall socket it quits. I wonder if there is interference between the usb and sound? As well, the sound is affected by the movement of the mouse. I updated drivers for video and audio, nothing changed.

Yup same here, Aspire 5920G. Get large amount of speaker feedback when closing lid, touching it or anything. Plays audio well but must turn volume down when not using it. Shame as it's brilliant apart from that.

I Have had my acer laptop for about 4 weeks now. While i play my music there is loud buzzing noises, almost crackeling noises that play with the bass. It comes and goes but like you, i have no idea what to do!. Do i contact the distributer and get it repaired or is it something that i am doing wrong??

well, if you put the green cable on the green connector on your sound card, you,ll be fine, and see if work, fine, depending on your configuration speakers, 5.1 or 2 way, you can test if the sound go on the 2 speakers.you also check if something is bad with the other speakers

SOURCE: Acer speakers

hello, check the volume. also the jacks are color coded. green is speakers, pink is mic, blue is line in. if this does not help, consider adding sound card(this will give a better quality of sound than onboard sound) hope this helps! good luck, glen.

SOURCE: no sound from speaker acer aspire computer. Which

Look down in the right corner of your sreen and find a small speaker icon. If you click on that icon it will show you if your speakers are muted, this happens sometimes by malware acting up and muting your speakers. If you right click on it it will tell you some more information. If you go into your control panel you have an icon that lets you do many more things with your sounds.

Hello! I purchased a pair of M- Audio Av 30 speakers years ago and I've noticed that at times they emit an annoying buzzing sound from the subwoofer parts of each speaker. I normally dont notice it because...

LOL. This is a common, easily solveable problem. Remove your cellphone or anything that emits radiation of any sort from the general area. Don't believe me? send a text message while sitting net to your speakers. It does this even if you arent sending a message because your phone sends intermittent signals to the cell tower. the radiation being emitted from the phone does weird things with the magnets inside the speakers.

I need to purchase speakers for my acer aspire pc and don't know how to fit them and is it best to buy wireless speakers?

What ever you use you must plug something into the PC. So you may as well plug in a wire, out from the audio Out port. If you do wish to use wireless, or better Bluetooth then this is indeed a good option, and works well.

Speaker buzzing at random

It sounds like the socket on your computer is becoming worn or has a loose solder joint.

If you feel comfortable with a fine tipped soldering iron and stripping your computer down I would take a look there first.

Also check the power supply for the speakers to make sure it is not getting too hot.

Annoying buzz coming out

i have a similar problem, and i've seen loads of stories about the same problem from these speakers, it's a shame because otherwise these speakers are pretty good :(

The speakers seem to pick up interference, especially when the volume is low, they also sometimes give out periodic buzzes, but this could be individual faults with equipment.

Background hum

I fixed the same issue by replacing the original AC power supply with a 13.8 volt DC power supply (Radio Shack) It seems to be more consistent at high SPL and no hum , as the Boston acoustic unit accepts either AC or DC power.

I have an acer laptop and i have an echoe in my sound... im not sure what the problem is. there is an internal mic i believe. help please! lol

Try right clicking on yout Volume Icon in the system tray (where your clock is). Click on Open Volume Control.
Make sure you have some audio playing, then just go through each channel and mute each one, 1 by 1 until the echo has gone.
If that don't work, then again, right click on Volume Icon in Tray, click on Adjust Audio Properties, then under speaker settings, select advance, then choose Desktop Stereo Speakers, under the Speaker Setup Options.

One of those should work. If it is your Mic causing the Echo, then you would get loads of feedback if you whack up the volume. If you don't get the feedback, then it's more then likely the Speaker Setup or some Sound FX is enabled through your Sound Card Software.
