Take your watch to your nearest watch shop and ask them to do it for you.

You can get into difficulty replacing batteries and it is not worth the risk for the small cost saving in doing it yourself.

SOURCE: need instructions or a manual on how to stop beep mode on watch

To turn hourly beep on/off: Hold the RESET button (lower right) and press the MODE button (lower left). When the days of the week light up, the hourly beep is on; when the days of the week are off, the hourly beep is off.

To turn the alarm on/off: Hold the RESET button and press ST/STP (upper right). Alarm light will go on/off.

SOURCE: I have a Sharp SHP

The buttons will probably be for mode and setting the time, date etc. I couldn't find any information on the net for this, so what I would suggest is that you take the watch into a watch repair shop- they usually know the functions, or can figure them out for you. If you play around with them for awhile, you can usually figure it out, with some perserverance.
Good luck, and hope this helps.

You can take it to any watch repair shop around your area to get the crystal replaced. However if it's a sapphire crystal it will be pretty expensive.

The crystal broke on my sharp watch when I was replacing the battery, can I order a new one and have it shipped?

A lot of the watch companies will no longer ship material to the watchmaker any longer. They want to keep all reparis in house. This has become very inconvient for customers. Depending on the type of crystal that is in your watch it may be obtainable from a repair center. We do all sorts of repairs in house and service many brands of watches. I have a Sharp brand watch, model shp-30 (it says under the model #.. 284) i bought from BigLots...It had no instructions... i figured out how to change time setting but it is stuck on 24 hr time display...

Try pressing the mode button (at 8) until 24 appears and then press the button at 2. If this does not change it to 12, try pressing the 4 button.

Broken crystal

Very common! Did you change the battery yourself? This is why I always suggest people take their watches to a reputable watch repair shop! You would be paying for a battery and not a new crystal! :-) You should be able to take it to a shop and have it replaced...although rectangle crystals can be tricky to find for exact fit!

Good luck!
