Question about Computers & Internet
Hi benny, im Nick from germany.
In order to install Windows on a Mac computer you'll need these things:
- Apple Macintosh with Intel Processor
- Windows XP Install CD with Service Pack 2 or higher
- You can also use Windows Vista CD
To get started, you just need to start the mac and do a search for "Bootcamp" in Spotlight (the search in MacOSX, top right corner).
Note: This only works on Mac OSX Leopard, for Tiger its a little more tricky.
Once you started Bootcamp, it will guide you through the process of partitioning your harddrive and installing windows.
If it doesnt work, its probably the fault of the windows install cd. I had to use 3 different versions to get it to work.
If you need additional help, feel free to ask =)
