SOURCE: in need of drivers for netgear cg814wg v.2

Hey buddy, this is a plug and play modem gateway and does not require drivers for its configuration. If this modem was provided to you by your ISP then please contact them for its configuration as these modems are ISP specific like Timewarner, comcast, cox. If not, then let me know so that I can assist you further.

First connect it via USB to a computer and set it up so it works over the cable.

Then re-install it to be wireless, putting in the router requirements.

Then under instructions unplug the router.

It should then be set up to run wirelessly.

I have a netgear router CG814WG v3. trying to use my xbox live working and the Xbox recommendes wireless mode 802.11a currently i'm the network is using 802.11g can this be changed?

Hi, your router does not support wireless mode 802.11a, now I haven't got the Xbox 360 Wireless adapter, but it supports all 3 standards (802.11a, b, and g) So should work fine with your current setting on 802.11g, the 802.11a is recommended because it avoids interference especially from microwaves, as this operates on the same frequency on the 802.11g standard. So best thing to do it, not use a microwave!. But if interference is a problem, then you would have to replace your router that supports all 3 standards.

Replace netgear CG814WG with WGR614 Possibile???

CG814 and WGR614 both are wireless modem, with 4 LAN port.
the difference is CG814 use so call "stateful" packet inspection, where WGR614 is using NAT, which is less secured, and easily attacked.
both have spam filer, and you can set restriction as to what website or content of the website.
CG814 should cost more than the WGR814. you should ask the resaller for the difference.

How to put dsl-320T in full bridge mode?

You could install Router Techs firmware on your modem www.routertech.org and it would give you the option to put the modem in full bridge mode. However I'm not sure the hardware on the modem fully supports it. You might have to use half bridge mode and let your router do the DHCP.
