Question about Uniden DECT2080-2 Twin Cordless Phone
The square key at the top of the phone, where it is your arrow keys, Caller Id and much more, stopped working on all 3 of my phones that I bought as a set. Now the phone is just a phone and the rest of the features I bought them for are wortthless. how do i fix this or did Uniden just sell me a bunch of ****? Thanks
After cracked open the handset, I am pretty sure most of problem is not circuit issue. It's the sticky pad somehow aged. I put a small piece of aluminum foil between the rubber key pad and inner plastic conductive pad, and fixed it. No glue needed so far.

If you are handy person, you can try to open the handset ,to see,it is mechanic issue or circuit issue, try to clean the keypad by alchohol.
