Runtime errors Some applications may be causing a conflict. Many times runtime errors are a result of incompatibility between two or more programs. Press the "Ctrl," "Alt" and "Delete" keys simultaneously to open Windows Task Manager. From the "Applications" tab, close each open application until the runtime error is resolved. Check for patches, bug fixes or upgrades by visiting the manufacturer's website. Search for your product and determine whether there are downloads to fix the problem your PC is experiencing. When none of the above fixes help, reinstall the troubling program. In severe cases, you may need to reinstall your operating system. Make sure that you back up the other programs and files you want to preserve, which may be erased during the re-installation. Hope this helps.

Programs not responding in Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1

If a program is not responding, right click your task bar and open Task Manager. If the CPU is at 100%, that's your problem.
There are three possible reasons for this that I can think of right now:
1. Too many programs open, close some
2. The scan is taking up a lot of CPU, start the scan when you're not using your system
3. Your system is low-spec and cannot handle the program properly
Just remember that these reasons may not apply to you

My laptop model name is compaq preserio c700 (c772tu), Installed windows 7 Os after intallation it seems some error like driver compatibility error for display mobile intel (r) 965 chipset exprees ) could...

Please follow these steps..
Download the drivers for "display mobile intel (r) 965 chipset exprees". Unzip it. then open the folder. Navigate to the .EXE file (or setup.exe) for the program. Then...
Right click on the program file (the .EXE or .COM file).
Select Properties from the menu that pops up (#1).
Select the Compatibility Tab in the dialog.
Change the options so the program opens in Windows 95 or 98 compatibility mode.
Note the other options in the dialog as you may have to experiment a bit and change some of them as well (#2).
If this doesn't work, then try checking the "Run the program as an administrator" box (#3).
This defeats the security in Windows Vista however and should be a last resort.

I have an error in an application (0xc0000a5) How can i fix it. Windows 7 home premium Product nr 00359-OEM-899 2687-00006 Sincerely Anita Laine

This problem is commonly misdiagnosed as licensing errors. If you are using Windows 7 and encounter this error, chances are the program has been preselected to run in compatibility mode for a previous OS or version.
1. Right click the application icon and hit properties. 2. Select compatibility tab. 3. Either uncheck the "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" box or select the OS/version the program was designed to be used on.
Hope this helps!

Error with Vista

If you are using any other operating system than Vista please see this article: http://www.rebrandsoftware.com/admin/supportEdit.asp?article_id=53

This error indicates that a file is not correctly installed on your system. In some cases it may be correctly installed for all standard users but not for the "Administrator" account, and you may only see this error when selecting "Run as Administrator".

The built in Administrator account is not intended to be used as a user account. It is very secure and will not allow program components to be registered. Instead you should create an account with administrative rights, and use it instead of the built in Administrative account. This will help solve runtime error 339/429 on our software, and lots of other software that you may install in the future. If you do not want to create a standard user account (not recommended) you can follow the instructions below:

If the problem started suddenly then a reinstall may fix it. If not, follow the directions below to register each file that is producing the error. You generally will only have to repeat the instructions 3 or 4 times:

Click start
In the search box type "cmd" without the quotes
When CMD.exe appears above the search box right click it and select "Run As Administrator". This will open a command prompt with admin rights.
Repeat the following for each file that is causing this error, replacing [filename] with the actual name of the file that is causing problems:

-Type "regsvr32 [filename] /u" without the quotes
-You will receive a prompt saying the file has been unregistered. Click OK.
-Type "regsvr32 [filename]" (shortcut: press your UP ARROW and delete /u)
-You will receive a prompt saying the file has been successfully registered.
    .......................................................
    try this

    Go to Start
    click Run
type in cmd
press enter

type in the black screen

regsvr32 MSWINSCK.OCX

Press enter
it will come back the c: prompt
then
Restart your PC
