Motor frozen Appears that it may have to do with toothpicks left in pockets and somehow eventually prevented motor operation. Should I just replace motor or could it be something else?

I seriously doubt your motor burned up. They have thermal protectors that shut it down when certain temps are reached. Likely the empellers of drain pump are jambed with toothpicks. You access it easily by removing the front panel. From either edge slide a putty knife inserted about 3/4" along the top edge of the panel. About 4" from the edge you will come into contact with a clip. Remove the putty knife and insert where the clip is. Push in a little and you should feel a springy resistance. Push in harder and you will lift the clip past a cut-out notch at the top of the panel. If you push till the blade comes to a stop you should be able to put your fingers on the top corner of the panel and give it a slight tug to free it. Don't pull too hard just enough to clear the clip. Then repeat procedure on other corner. Once it pops open set it aside but prop it up with something. When they fall over they sound like a gun going off the way they slap the floor. Do your heart a favor. The pump is probably a plastic that you can see through with the help of a flashlight. you will probably have to remove it to get them all out. Prepare for excess water in hoses if tub is empty. If tub is full of water bail as much as possible or use a wet and dry vac. Let me know if you run into trouble.

Explanation for ERR1 1. Motor doesn't operate; ERR1 appears. 1-1. Explanation: Drive board has not sent power to the motor, so the motor doesn't operate; the optic sensor signal hasn't returned to the display board. This is caused by either a bad mcb or a faulty motor.

My freezer just quit working. The power light is on but the motor isn't running. What could be the problem

Check the starting capacitor- if ng replace it. Also check compressor motor windings. If they are ok then it is possible that the motor has seized. To confirm that check for the current draw of the motor while not running. Usually on the unit there will be a rating for normal current draw and a draw when the rotor is frozen. Check your reading against the frozen motor reading. And if the motor is frozen and not running it will be hot, very hot and the clixon will kill power to motor till it cools and it will shut down again as it overheats due to non operation.

Replaced the clutch and motor coupler a month ago. Ran great. Washed tennis shoes. Came in to remove clothes, didn't spin. Wont agitate or spin, i could hear the motor running. Just replaced the motor...

Check for a failed capacitor under the control panel It is a start/run capacitor that the motor needs to start running. The motor will hum and if left will eventually burn out.

F2 and a spanner appears after it is turned on to operate

F2 error is displayed when control won't sense motor to be rotating, usually occurs due to frozen/bad motor or stuck motor rotor or the RPS sensor or a bad stator assembly. If the motor rotor spins freely and both impellers are securely attached then the issue is with the RPS sensor. If the motor won't rotate then it is the motor rotor that has to be replaced. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

Sounds like the bushings or bearings in the motor are dry. You might try to see if the motor has oil spouts where you can use some thin weight oil . The spouts are usually pointing upward on one or both ends of the motor, not much bigger around than a pencil lead. It there are no spouts to oil the motor, the motor will eventually need to be replaced.

Driver window quit working after car wash

It appears that the electric motor that operates the windows has become faulty after letting in water after the car wash. The motors are sealed with a gasket, but can some times let in enouh water over time to cause corrosion an prevent operation. To access the window mechaism and motor you will have to remove the interior door trim an then undo the necessary bolts to remove the window mechaism. Removing the end bell of the motor and alowing to dry and removing any corosion should get it working again if the motor has not been burnt out.

LE code light

LE code stands for locked motor error. When this error code appears in your front load washer it indicates a fault in the motor unit.

1 . Check the connections to the Coil/Stator at the rear of the unit possibly it should be something like a broken wire.

2 . Coil/Stator Assembly will be defective preventing the drive to operate. You should go for a replacement of that assembly.

Thank you !!

1997 Subaru Outback with temperarure problems

check the coolant level - you may have low coolant, causing the sensor to occasionally read an air pocket. If you don't correct this you will burn out your motor.
We had this problem & eventually replaced both the thermostat and radiator cap, being careful to bleed out any air pockets by running the engine form cold with the heater on hot and the radiator cap off - keep watching & topping up the coolant as the enigine heats & the thermostat opens.
Good luck!
