Question about Bernina Bernette 75
I have a Bernette 720, the feed teeth have dropped down below the plate so they are not grabbing onto the fabric and feeding it through. I was wondering if I have missed something simple, like there is a darning control that I have mistakingly turned on. Can anyone enlighten me on this? Thanks
Actually Richard Engel, on the Bernette 720, the mechanism which raises the feed dogs above the plate is located below the plate to the right of the bobbin case holder assembly. It is a simple push-pull pivoted can with a roller on top.
Sometimes it is little bit stiff to move.

Hi. Benieth the free arm there is a lever that you can switch from left to right. This raises and lowers the feeddogs for normal sewing and darning. Possibly you need to flip that switch lever. If that doesn't solve it then the freearm cover on the bottom needs to be removed and the feeddog mechanism cleaned and oiled. Could be stuck.
Good luck. Hope its the easy fix.
