Echo on Dell Mini


if you had a sound manager,like Realtek or other,then open it and look if some of the configurations like echo or karaoke.

Bought a new dell inspiron 580 but cannt get the sound to work - I have checked the onboard sound in bios and its enabled.


Did you buy speakers? the Dell Inspiron Desktops do not have an Internal speaker, you will need extenral POWERED speakers for audio

Muted sound from left speaker, no sound from right speaker


try uninstall/reinstalling audio driver. if it fails contact Dell tech support possibility that the internal speaker is already loose/broken.

Old speakers will not work with new Dell Inspiron 530


Speakers are pretty much universal. Plug them in, and connect the audio cable to the green receptacle on the computer.

you select the echo buttom, go to the setting and uncheck it
