Question about Whirlpool LEQ9858P Electric Dryer
I took my old element out of my dryer model number LER3624JQ1 and received a new 1 part number 279838.The problem is there are 3 wires and only 2 places to connect to the element.i don't remember how they were on the old 1 so any help would be greatly appreciated.thanks email@example.com
On your old heater there was a "thermostat, mounted to the lower end of the heater correct?? youllneed to remount that to the new heater( one end will gp to one terminal on heater) ohter "thick wire" goes to the other heater terminal, and on eto the open thermostat connectore, the last wire should be smaller in size and connect to teh side of the thermostat you just installed
