Bread maker paddle didn't spin at all although the motor work.

Turn your machine on its side and remove the bottom panel with a screwdriver. You will probably find that the belt has broken. If you want to try replacing the belt let me know ($20.00 for belts) send me the code off the belt. It will look something like this STS S3M471

I do not know when to take out the kneading paddle out of the breadman TR555LC. If not taken out, the Kneading paddle will stay in the bread itself after bake.

Hi.. The "central shaft" could mean the motor shaft is not turning or the "central shaft" could be the paddle shaft in the bread pan is not turning. If it's the motor shaft then tighten or replace belt. Since you "lost all your stuff" it could be the sealed bearing in the bottom of the bread pan has broken. The paddle doesn't turn and is leaking. If this is the case the bread pan needs replacement. Hank

WE only have a Silvercrest Breadmaker a few months now and the bread sticks to the Kneading Blades and as a result the bread becomes broken when taking it out of the tin, can you please help.

This is very easily fixed. In fact in the instruction manual it suggests you stop it before baking and remove the blades. After almost a year using it, we have further refined this. As soon as 2nd kneading is done, we pause it, remove the blades, oil up hands with olive oil, and shape it into an approximately cuboid shape, before putting it back in the tin and resuming the programme.

From the 2nd time we used it we did the removing the paddles, but with trial and error have found that shaping the bread means you get a much more even loaf, and later that oiling the hands to do this makes it rise much better, as it prevents the dough sticking to the sides, inhibiting the rise.

By the way, the programmes we use most are no. 8 (mostly), in which case you remove the paddles after 70 mins, and no. 2 (occasionally), where you do it after just after an hour.

Hope this helps, it's certainly made it work much better for us!

The mixing blade is stuck in the tin . How do we get it out?

Try soaking it over night or even for a couple of days. Put just enough water in it to cover the paddle completely plus about an inch with a little detergent. Whatever you do don't try to pry it loose with anything metal because you will damage the nonstick coating on the paddle and/or the breadpan!!!..............If it still won't come out log on to you tube and type in "How do you remove a stuck bread machine paddle" ......you will see my video of how to remove a seriously stuck bread paddle with no damage to your pan or paddle.

The machine gets warm but the paddle doesn't turn.

Hi, The paddle should turn freely by hand with the bread pan out of the machine. Make sure the pan is inserted in the machine correctly. If the motor shaft turns but the paddle doesn't then the sealed bearing that the paddle rotates on has failed and is frozen so the paddle does not turn.. You may need a new bread pan. Hank

I have a problem with my bread sticking to my kneading blades and spoiling the loaf when it comes out of the tin

Hi,
The blade is supposed to come out of the pan with the bread. Then you can remove the paddle from the loaf.

If the paddle does not come on and off the shaft easily it may be seated too tight on the shaft. Make sure everything is clean and keep taking it on and off the shaft to see if it frees up, or use a little bit of olive oil to lubricate it.

Bread not rising enough

We had exactly the same problem. We contacted Panasonic who supplied bogus "advice" about changing the type of flour and using more water. We eventually discovered the reason for the problems: the mixing paddle was now a loose fit to the spindle. Part way through the baking process it would stick. We also have a solution. You jam tin foil in the gap between the spindle and the paddle, it works a treat. Don't waste you money on a new paddle, this won't be a tight enough fit.
