You can simply contact your mobile service provider ( Customer Care Number) from another phone. Thet will verify your identity first and then block your phone after your request.

Nokia n95 provider call barring, i found a nokia n95 and it's unlocked except when you put a simcard in it and try and make a call it says 'call barring activated' can this be unlocked and if so how????

You'll need PIN2. If that doesn't work then phone is reported lost/stolen and is blacklisted, ie phone wont work, but still can be used as music player...

Blocked phone through imei nokia n95 8gb

You have to contact your service provider .

The IMEI (serial number) block on the phone, which stops it being used with a different SIM card, this may take up to 48hours to clear.

Please try to contact Customer Services of your provider. They will help to get you back and running.

More info about IMEI, please click here to check:http://www.1010store.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=180

Nokia n95 freezing

If your phone used to work but has stopped because it froze and you took the battery out, to restart it. There's a possibility that it will need a reset to get it going again.
Reset code: *#7780#
But if you just got it, and it has never worked, it might be blocked, by the original owner, (who lost the phone or had it stolen), using the
IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity)
in which case you need to take it to a repair shop.
