Maybe you've forgot to set up this option... In SETTINGS > STATUS BAR PREFERENCES at the SPEED (that shows your actual speed) you have to have displayed the SPEED LIMIT also. If this last one doesn't appear it means it is not available for the road you are on. Check if your map(s) are updated and your software too.
Yes and no, Yes if you know enough to go into the operating system and recalculate the the timing of it and no if you don't. Also remember that it could be your speedometer that is out as well. They are allowed a variance of +- 5mph. Hope this helps
I had a nuvi 205 for a while and it showed some of the speed limits. had a little sign that would pop up above the current speed. I "upgraded" to the 1300 and was surprised to see that feature missing. Actually, kinda mad, I really liked that function
The satellite chip ( SIIRF) is possible burned out It starts always at the last place it was programmed or the default place of issue. It may be quite expensive to fix as it requires a new motherboard. Not usually covered by warranty as they can be damaged by overcharging aqnd connecting to DC when starting engine.
It sounds o me as though the battery is dead or flat - if you can get hold of a usb - mini usb cable and a usb mains charger from somebody (if you do have one yourself) get them plug it it to the mains and leave to charge for at least 12 (preferably 24 hours) - it should be working fine then. (if you do not have a usb mains adapter - plug it into a pc - but leave the pc on to charge it)
The battery is probably run down so much that it doesn't have enough juice to power up - this happens usually if you haven't used it for a while because the battery is being used up to remember where the last GPS position was.
If charging still fails to fx it - then the unit needs a new battery - contactnavman support in this case.
this is a flaw with TomTom. The way I do it is this, after you input the address, touch, details, then, browse as text, scroll down to the very last instuction and touch that. This will open a window showing an arrow pointing which side of the road the final destination is on. Good luck.
If this helps you plz rate it fixya. Thank you kindly.
