If you are connecting to your 2wire router wirelessly you need to put int he 10-digit WEP passcode, this would be a 10 digit number on the bottom of the router near the serial number, it is usually in brackets like "[6123234645]" for example.

    To Whom It May Concern,
I am sorry you are experiencing this problem. I will do anything i can do to help. On your Computer (that is connected with the Router) i want you to go to Internet Explorer and in the Address Bar type 192.168.1.1 and then it will ask you for a username and password which is admin and the password too. Then you can setup your router.

Do you had a Nintendo Wii hook on your router?

Likely cause: It appears that the password (also known as a WPA or WEP key) entered into the Wii console is not the same as what your wireless router is set to allow.
How to fix: Make sure the password is entered into the Wii exactly as it appears in your router's settings. Security keys are case sensitive.
Don't know how to find your router's password?
Look for a sticker on the bottom of your router. Many routers provided by Internet service providers have their default password located on a sticker on the bottom of the router.

When I hook up my wii unit to the internet I keep getting a 50300 error code. When I hook up my computr, Everything is ok. Any ideas?

The Wii console's internet connection settings are not correct. This could include your network name (SSID), WEP or WPA keys, or any manual settings you may have entered.
Go here for more info to fix it - http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/wfc/en_na/ds/results.jsp?error_code=50300&system=Wii&locale=en_US

    4.jpg

Now on page 2, click on Internet.
    5.jpg

    Then click Connection Settings.
    6.jpg

From this list, click Connection 1.
    7.jpg

    Then, click Wireless Connection...
    8.jpg

and then click Search for an Access Point.
    9.jpg

It will briefly search for any access points and when this screen comes up, click OK.
    10.jpg

The following will be a list of nearby access points. If the one you are looking for doesn't show up, click Try again. Then, click the one you have access to...

When the following screen appears, click OK...

I cant get my wii to hook up to the router

Try resetting your router. Do this by having physical access to you router, and there should be a reset button (or hole) in the back of your router. You may need a pin or something very skinny to fit it through. Hold it for 20 or 30 seconds. After it is reset, type in your address bar 192.168.1.1. When a dialog box appears asking you for your username and password, leave the username field blank and type in admin for the password. The router configuration page should load up. Scroll down and change the Local IP Address to 192.168.2.1. Scroll down and click save settings. Atttempt to configure your Wii's wireless internet settings all over. Your Wii should be able to connect to the internet now.

If you are the origional owner of the router, then you had set the WEP key, which is a password meant to prevent others from stealing your internet. If you still cant do it, Go to your routers configuration and restore it to factory settings. Then you can set your own WEP Tkip style passcode and connect the Wii wirelessly and correctly. For further help, just ask me.
