If you are connecting to your 2wire router wirelessly you need to put int he 10-digit WEP passcode, this would be a 10 digit number on the bottom of the router near the serial number, it is usually in brackets like "[6123234645]" for example.

Your WIFI router should have a PIN code or Passcode. If you dont know these, you will need to login to the router and get the code from there. Then enter it in the wii.

Trying to set up my wii to internet. have correct address, betting error code 51331

According to Nintendo's website you will receive that error if you have not entered in your wireless passcode correctly. See below error explanation from Nintendo:
Error Code: 51331
Unable to connect to your wireless network
Likely cause: It appears that the password (also known as a WPA or WEP key) entered into the Wii console is not the same as what your wireless router is set to allow.
How to fix: Make sure the password is entered into the Wii exactly as it appears in your router's settings. Security keys are case sensitive.
Don't know how to find your router's password?
Look for a sticker on the bottom of your router. Many routers provided by Internet service providers have their default password located on a sticker on the bottom of the router.

If you're not able to locate the password here, select the brand of your router below and we'll show you how to access your router's settings.

Wont hook up to a connection for internet i have wireless asking for a password from belalliant

When hooking your wii up to the internet make sure you are connecting to your wireless network that you have set up at home. Make sure you have the correct password that is set up from your router setup. The password is not usually the same password you use to connect to your router via 192.168.1.1 but a different password you set up from within your router settings. You may need to refer to your routers user manual to set this up.

I'm trying to connect to my wireless internet, I made sure I chose my own wireless and put in the correct password but the connection test keeps failing. It says Error Code: 51330. What does that mean...

Hi there. The error that you received indicates that the Passcode you typed in does not match the routers passcode.

Be sure to be careful when it is typed such as Capitals, or numbers and symbols. If it still does not work, i request for you to change your router password and then try with the new one.

Please rate and comment, thank you.

I am trying to connect the wii to the internet.

ok well the wii on the internet is grand I love it and so does my kids, so lets get you hooked up to the internet on your wii.

First off you will either need a wireless router to send the signal to your wii alot of the time I would suggest if there is any security on your router to take it off so that the signal is broadcasted automatically then after you get a connection setting it up to be on a secured connection is easy as it gets.

so if you let me know if you have wireless internet or not we can get you going in the right direction in no time at all

or if you want you can check out this from the nintendo website first and then ask any questions and we will hopefully get you going

Try adjusting the "Channel" your wireless router broadcasts on. We highly recommend setting your wireless router to either channel 1 or 11. This can potentially increase the download speed.

Internet connection

Your Wii will only connect properly to your wireless router by the setting WEP any others and you get problems. Set your router to WEP and encription strenth to 64bit, enter a WEP key "or passphrase to generate a WEP key" its a 10 digit password for your wireless security. Oh also nintendo will only work on chanel mode G&B not G not B but G&B.

Hope this helps.

Thanks

Matt
