SOURCE: I need to replace my

Hello, you can replace the mainboard to another MicroATX mainboard. It does not have to be the same mainboard.

I need to know the brand and model of the computer to look up a compatible board for you.

It will probably cost less than what the exact same board from HP would cost.

do you have any questions? let me know.

Diagram of USB and hard drive slots on H-RS880-uATX (Aloe)

the best way to find out the connection order is in the bios. sadly i dont have your exact mother board on hand to look at the bios and tell you exactly where in the bios it is. i do not know how to map usb slots from my own experience maybe someone else knows a sure fire way. you can get an idea from device manager and plugging in usb devices into slots one at a time and make your own map based on which slots are changed in device manager.

I want to connect 4 sata harddrives to HP p6620f motherboard

Put them in a RAID configuration.

HP Support > Pavilion P6620f Desktop PC > Main Support page,

Left-click on - Product information - in blue
Left-click on - Product specifications - in blue
Left-click on - Motherboard specifications, N-Alvorix-RS880-uATX (Alvorix)

Here you see a photo of your motherboard.
Now scroll down to the illustration of the motherboard.

Here you can see the four SATA headers labeled.

1) SATA 1 is the Dark Blue SATA header, that your harddrive should be plugged into now.

2) SATA 2 is the White SATA header

3) SATA 3 is the Light Blue SATA header

4) SATA 4 is the Orange SATA header.

The other three SATA harddrives are plugged into SATA 2, SATA 3, and SATA 4.
BIOS will automatically find them, when the computer is turned on.

It will also recognize, that the main harddrive you have plugged into SATA 1, is the only harddrive with the Operating System on it.

[ To regress;

FOLLOW Anti-Static Precautions

Anti-Static Precautions:
Your body carries Static electricity. Static WILL fry out (Short Circuit) the delicate hardware components inside a computer.

Computer on a table, computer unplugged from power, computer case open.
TOUCH an unpainted surface of the metal frame, of the open computer case. This action will relieve your body of Static.

IF you leave your computer in the middle of working on it, be SURE to touch the metal frame again upon your return ]

Also, choosing what RAID configuration you want. Some info I feel may help,

I bought a HP 6710f Pavillion desktop, running windows 7, and found out it only has a 250 watt power supply. I turned around and bought an Antec Greenwatts 500 watt ATX 12v v2.3 psu to install for future...

Presuming you mean the Earthwatts 500:
Should work, though the Earthwatts has the 24 pin ATX instead of the 20-pin.
You just need to snap the 24-pin connector apart to make it work as a 20-pin. It can be snapped back together for future motherboards.
The Bestec is just a standard ATX power supply
