SOURCE: spraying paint instead of air for the first action

Make sure the needle is pushed completely up against the tip. You will possibly have to take the back handle off to adjust it. (I am not familiar with this paint gun specifically). Make sure you do not force the needle into the tip, gentley push it until it stops.
I hope this helps.

How can I fix a electrical spray gun that does not spray but makes noise like its going to spray.

R D, I think the spray nozzle is blocked with previous paint job. I would try soaking it in paint solvent for a few hours to see if it helps. Use the cleaning brush to clean as much as you can all the channels where you see paint. good luck.

Aqua Pro RV Water System siphon kit, #27910 - i followed the instructions and installed the kit, valve right way, arrow pointing the right way. It does not suck the antifreeze out, it blows air or liquid...

The valve should be closed while siphoning from the antifreeze. This allows the RV pump to draw it from the jug instead of the holding tank.
You can not use city water or other pressure to move it.
If all else fails and you are using RV antifreeze imply place the antifreeze in the holding tank. turn the valve open and use the faucets normally until you get liquid out of them.
Come summer you can simply add 1/4 cup of non-phosphours bleach to every 5 gallons of water to clean and purify tour lines and tank again.

Iwata eclipse G6 airbrush gun - no paint flow, bubbles forming in gravity feed bottle.

it is rather large (usually 0.6mm nozzle) airbrushing gun,

symptom indicate that needle is closing the nozzle and not retracting, gun need cleaning! or adjustment - seem like both...

remove paint from the feeder, remove feeder bottle from the gun body, clean it well with paint stripper and then solvent/water allow it to dry
remove front casing from the gun and check for any physical debris around the needle or in the chamber, carefully clean without damaging the needle. needle is stainless should be nearly mirror finish.wash with solvent and use toothbrush - DO NOT USE METAL BRUSH!

put it back together and check if it works correctly, if you have any flow from the front - fill about 1/3 of the tank with paint stripper and then spray it to the sink or whatever other safe place. do not forget to wear safety mask, goggles and gloves! paint stripper will eat through your skin! if you splash yourself, have few spoon of vinegar mixed with 2pints (1 liter) of water and this solution will deactivate paint stripper! SAFETY FIRST!

if gun still do not work - you need to strip needle assembly and clean it correctly, put your gun on the table on butcher paper, remove screw holding needle on the back (watch for the spring!) put whole assembly on the paper in the order in which you removed it,
clean needle and needle seat, lightly grease it with vaseline and in reverse order put it back together.

regulations:
very bottom screw - this close to the airhose, it regulates volume of the air to the gun, you very rarely need to adjust that one, you increase volume with haevy paint and decrease it with light paints
needle screw - it regulates volume of the paint itself, closing it clockwise will decrease amount of paint, anticlockwise will increase volume of paint
top screw - it regulates the spray pattern, totally closed - round pattern as there will be no flow to side vents, more open, more flat the spray pattern,

i would suggest fill the bottle with water and put some butchers paper on the wall and experiment what is what and what pattern is most suitable for your use.

hope this little info will help you solve your problem, it is good you give the model, it will be better if you provide as well what medium you use, was it acrylic, oil, water based? all of them behave little bit differently in airgun...

please do not hesitate to leave your opinion and points... thanx!

How to clean dust under the keys of logitech keyboard?

Hello,

Here are a few methods:

Find a vacuum cleaner that has a hose thar allows you to insert the hose in the exhaust end of the vacuum cleaner. Then use the air blowing out of the hose to blow the dust out of the keyboard.

If you have access to an air compressor use that to blow the dust out of the keyboard.

Places that sell computer supplies sell cans of compressed air, use this to blow dust out of a keyboard (the most common method).

If the problem is extreme the keys can be VERY CAREFULLY pried off the keyboard using a screwdriver (if you've never done this before you should try it on an old keyboard of no value to you to practice).

Hope this helps.

I have a propane heater that sits on the tank and has the ceramic plates for dissipating the heat. Instead of a nice blue flame, it has a lot of orange flame. Why?

I would shut off valve to heater and remove it from propane bottle. Carefully clean with soft bristle brush and blow out with medium pressure air. Reinstall and light heater and see if flame quality has improved. Often dirt, dust, and lint can build up in burner and cause fuel to not get good enough air to fully combust. Hope this helps you. Thanks

I cant decide between two airbrushes i am thinking on ordering.I want a large cup gravity feed and right now am debating between the Badger 100LG and the Paasche Talon.Any comments would be great

I am not familiar with either brush, but they are both well known name brands. The Paasche will probably have more readily available parts for it than the Badger in case something breaks or you drop it. I myself use Iwata, BUT the parts are expensive.
It will boil down to which brush comes with what size tip/needle in accordance to what type of media you will be shooting. Thicker paints or stains will require a bigger tip and needle, thinner paints and stains, just the opposite. I hope this helps.

The air is flowing back into the color barrell

First of all we must know how is works, that is air enters the brush causing a vacuum at the paint hose, where the hose is dip into the paint barrel,so paint will fill the vacuum where it will attend the brush,so if the air mechanism in the brush is glogged air will flow in the paint barell.Solution is to dismentle the brush and clean the air mechinism

Does this dental air compressor have a oil pressure safety switch?if so, where is it located? can I find a wiring diagram

Air compressors are designed to operate many different tools. The value of a commercial air compressor is many times greater than the purchase price because of the amount of work a single air compressor can perform. Dental air compressors are some of the most reliable because of the high-quality air they supply and precision tools they operate. As a result, dental air compressors can be adapted for a number of different tasks, including artistic air brush painting
1.Disconnect the air compressor from the dental tool air supply. Pressure and air supply rate-of-flow settings are different for air brush painting than for air delivery for dental tools.
2.Reset the air pressure on the tank to a range between 15 and 20 pounds per square inch (psi). The exact operating pressure for airbrush painting will vary, depending on the application and the type of paint used.
3.Reconnect an air-supply hose and a siphon style airbrush to the compressor.
4.Fill the airbrush's paint vile with lacquer-based paints. Test the air brush and paint performance on a piece of cardboard, or scrap piece of cloth
material before beginning the painting project. Every time the air compressor is connected to airbrush, or a new paint color is loaded into the brush, a short test spray should be performed. After each test adjust the air volume, and the paint flow in the gun to achieve the desired results8_16_2012_1_32_17_am.jpg

How to clean out drain hose

Believe it or not...I think it is fixed. I used a coat hanger to try to take out as much "gunk" as I could from the drain plug hose. I added warm water and then vinegar to the hose with a medicine dropper to help loosen the "gunk" I also forced air with the medicine dropper and I could hear it in the tub from the pump. Then I knew it was free of "gunk." I ran 3 hot cycles 2 with 1/2 gallon each of vinegar and one plain water cycle. Between each cycle I emptied the drain plug hose and drain pump filter. After the three cycles the water came out clean and not muddy. I also took a spray bottle of hot water and sprayed the "gunk" from around the seal to release it and out of the washer. I alternated with the spray bottle of water and vinegar applied with a small paint brush. I also noticed this "gunk on the stainless steel tub as well. I used the paint brush and painted vinegar on that and sprayed down with the hot water. I then did a load of towels and this morning my washer does not smell and is clean as can be...no more "gunk." what is that stuff anyway? Too much soap or softener? Anyone else have this problem? I was told by the service tech a few years ago that I didn't need to open that door because that is where they service the machine from.....wrong....I was to empty that drain hose from time to time. That was the first time I opened that door and the machine is 4 years old....
