The problem is on the drum if you used it often, one more thing, you did not mentioned if the paper stocked in between the drum and the heating element, if so when you just pull it out it may scratch the drum and may caused to a black patch after printing

Barrel isn't turning.

I believe you will find the belt is broken.
There is a motor which is supposed to turn a belt, which in turn drives the drum.
If you wish to repair ir yourself, a letter to "Fixya" could cause someone to walk you through the steps.
Be blessed.

The dryer ir running but no heat

Initially sounds like the heating element(s) are burnt out. Probably needs replacing. The top should be removed and the drum removed, be sure to note the routing of the belt around the drum and pulley on the bottom. Once the drum is out, you can see the heating elements, but look behind the drum once the top has been flipped back, it may be accessable without removing the drum.

Dryer is runing but not getting hot. What could

First check is to reset the twin breakers for the dryer in the house electrical panel--push off, then on. If the dryer now heats, you are home free. If not, measure the voltage (should be ~230 volts AC) across the two slanted slots in the dryer power socket. If nothing, leave the dryer unplugged and reset the breakers again. Try measuring the voltage again--if still nothing, you have a failed breaker (one is still good) or a broken/loose wire between the breaker and the power socket (contact an electrician to check that out and repair). If you measure the required voltage, then you have a problem within the dryer--usually the heating element is open or the thermostat or high temp safety thermostat is bad. Usually, the drum must be removed to repair the heater. Good luck!

Whirlpool LER 6620 heats, but does not tumble.

if the dryer heats the motor should be good. if it hums its either runing or the hum is a stall noise . if belt is in tact then if motor were going so would the drum . so i think the motor isn't going just humming and the heat sw in the motor is stuck closed with lint and you need to replace the motor .. take the belt off and turn motor if it turns free . the blow it out good and reinstall belt and try again
