Question about Crock Pots & Slow Cookers
I would like to replace the lid to my Crock Pot slow cooker because I brike the lid. It is an oval cover so a pot cover won't work. I see no other solution than to purchase a new lid if Crock Pot the company would allow me to do that. I can't seem to get anywhere at this point.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

SOURCE: Replacing my crock pot lid
GO TO A THRIFT STORE, AND BUY ANY LID THAT LOOKS LIKE IT WILL FIT...OR USE ONE FROM YOUR OWN KITCHEN...REALLY...IT'S ONLY A LID...THE CROCKPOT WILL COOK WITH ANY LID.

Believe or not, go to your local Goodwill Store! They have tons of crocks and the lids and the cookers separate frm each other that have been donated becase one of the pieces was broken and they donated the rest of the pieces. Lids and crocks typically range from $1.99 to $5.99 and you benefit your community at the same time.
