I just got these headphones, and as soon as I took them out of the box and put them in, ANY song I listen to the vocals are either not able to be heard (Everything else is) or sounds distant and echoes.

Dan, You should be able to hear yourself inside your head as the small hairs that vibrate in fluid in your ear canal will pick up your vocalizations. In any case you know what you're saying and it shouldn't be a problem talking to someone. Now if you're listening to music really loud on those headphones and still need to hear yourself think, I suggest you turn down the volume. :)
It sounds like this might be a setting on whichever MP3 player, or sound device that you are using. You should check for an "EQ" on your device and try setting it to a different setting to make it so you can hear the music and vocals of a song.
Please let me know if you have any other questions about this,
Same problem, not a 'speaker problem" from blowing them out. Try just pushing the jack until you feel resistance and maually hold the jack. You should hear "almost all the music and vocals'. Validates the transducers are ok. Some sort of wiring problem shorting to mic.
my aguen player is frezzing and i turn it on and the screen saver stays there and if i charge it, and turn it on it works but then when you want to turn it off the screen thing stays there and nothing happens you can't turn it off or on.
