My speakers are brand new logitech and worked perfectly for the first
couple of days and one day i tuned on my computer and they didn't work.
I have updated the driver, look at the audio settings under control
panel and at the top it says "no audio device" and all the options
under all the tabs are grey and un-clickable. I have no idea what to
    do.

Same problem, started yesterday, after downloading Skype. I checked all volumes, did a restart, although the sound of Windows coming up was fine. Just no sound on video or radio.

This morning (computer was shut down overnight) the sound came on and was great. Then stopped altogether after about 30 minutes, and checked out as yesterday.

I'll try a shutdown again and see if that does anything.

Hi! It seems that your problem is in your computer system setting. You have to install the audio device DRIVER and install it. After that, problem solve. Good luck, THANKS

How do i pair my phone to play on my insignia speaker?

1. Press and hold the button to put the speaker in "Pairing/Connecting" mode. You should see a red and blue light flashing in rapid succession somewhere on the speaker.
2. Turn on Bluetooth on the phone and tap on Scan. The phone will start scanning for nearby Bluetooth devices. When you see that it detected a device with a name similar to the speaker's name, tap on the name to pair with the phone. If you are asked for a passcode/passkey, enter '0000' or '1234' (without the quotes). If the two pair, the light on the speaker will turn to a steady blue and you will see 'Connect' on the phone. Tap on Connect and then you will see Connected on the phone. Your phone and the speaker are now connected.

The steps above should be detailed in the set up guide that came with the speaker. There may even be a passkey/code provided in the guide. Use that one for pairing instead of the passkey I suggested above. Please note that pairing is a one-time procedure, required only the first time you are connecting the phone to the speaker, a "get to know you" procedure. After that, you just need to connect the two.

I JUST bought a insignia speaker 2.1 (model # NS-PCS21) and the speaker plug ins are pluged right, power are plug in, the green and the red cord plugged in... i see blue light comming up. my computer sound...

Greetings - The setup (as you already know) is simple. If you have the a/c adapter plugged in, the power on and the green speaker cable in the audio out at the back of your PC and and the red cable plugged into the subwoofer and the volume knob on the the right speaker turned up that's all it takes.

The one possible gotcha I can see is if you have something plugged into the jack at the BACK of the right speaker (an AUX jack for things like MP3 players, etc.) it will override everything else.

If that's all good you have a bad set of speakers.

Hi there,

Without the speakers is there sound coming out of the laptop?

normally you just have to plug it to the headset port, it's usually a 3.5mm hole.

Make sure that the computer is not muted so that sounds will be coming out and adjust the volume from the computer itself.

Hope this helps!

When I plug the speakers in, No sound comes out of them.

Hi, have you tried any speakers on your computer before if yes and these speakers you bought are not working even you turned the volume up they may be faulty, else it may be a cable problem, jack has not been connected at the right place or the sound driver is not installed on your computer. try to check if all is OK or even check the speaker by connecting it to an mp3 or any device using this type of jack if it is playing the problem may be on your computer.
hope that this will help and don't hesitate to contact me and don't forget to rate.

Best regards

No sound

Restart your PC. Check all the connections in the back of the main base, and check that you have plugged the connector into the headphone jack and not a microphone or line in jack by accident
