Microwave comes on in cooking mode with the door closed when plugged in. The Clear/Off button does not turn off and we have to open the door to turn off.

I have a hunch the microwave panel is going into Child lock mode and preventing you from operating the clear/off function. Not sure which is the middle switch that you replaced. I would suggest you give the panel a good wipe with a clean damp cloth to remove all grime etc. Before selecting the start/pause button press the Clear/off button for 3 secs and see if the L (lock) shows up on the display. Next press again for 3 secs to see if L goes away.

This way you have confirmed the panel is not in lock mode before you start next operation. Provide your observations in the comments section so that I can assess what the next step should be.

Notification that won't go away

Aimee I think it would be better to take it back or at least ring them up and tell em what your problem is, or ring Samsung. Firs try powering down by holding the Power Button down for 10 sec.

I just replaced the battery in my 01 audi a4 and after i unlock the doors and leave em unlocked and walk away for a few minutes after 2 or 3 minutes they lock themselves it never did this before i changed...

unlock car with key.hold over for 30 secs.then lock car, hold key over for 30 secs, then unlock using remote,
you have to reset central locking/alarm system every time you disconnect battery.

Engine light stays on and goes off on its own some time will come on when first started has done this ever since I bought it new

Something is reading a incorrect value for a sec. So minor or some dust gets in the way or the egr hangs for a sec then its gone nothing to worry about it cleared its self usually it over in .3 sec and your light will stay on for a few days.Dont let if worry you if you hear metal on metal for a sec then let it worry you but Im sure its nothing major and the parts house boys will have you buying gas caps, battery grease , spark plugs , oil , filter any thing to keep you away from a mech that will just clean everything and oil up the egr for no parts included.

My central locking on my 1997 vw golf just stopped working it sounded like it was trying to work but now does nothing. also the gas tank cover wont open as its stuck on lock...any advice on what i can try?

the gas flap is operated with the central locking, stand at rear of car with tailgate open, just inside to the right, under the floormat you will find the central locking pump.but first renew the batteries in the remotes then unlock the car with the key and hold the key over for 30 secs, the windows may go down,
then lock the car with the key and hold over for 30 secs, the windows may go up and the sunroof,if fitted will close, then unlock with remote button held down for 30 secs, this will reset alarm/central locking.
if you need to get to gas flap, pull carpet away in boot behind flap area and pull wire to unlock....

The alarm is going of all tht time

this may work.first replace the battery in the remote(or use a spare key that locks/unlocks the car from about 15 feet away)then lock the car with the key and hold over for about 30 secs, then press and hold unlock button on remote for 30 secs.OR unlock the car with the key and hold over, all the windows will drop(if fitted) then lock the car with the key and hold over as above.....

It has a lock on the screen and will not start

your panel may be locked. look for a child lock and hold those buttons down 3-10 sec. should clear. if its a door lock problem then u may have a door latch problem. but check control panel and make sure it was not accidently locked. i do go to homes to find out the only thing wrong was the panel was locked . hope this helps

Fridgidaire Gallery Series Dishwasher Leaks from bottom I have a Frigidaire Gallery Series Dishwasher that leaks at the bottome right corner and puddles up on my hardwood floor. Frigidaire gallery dishwasher leaked at the door the FRIST time I ran it. Did the first run with nothing in it to test and clean it out. About 1 lt of water came out the bottom right corner. Sadly it's over 1 year old before we ran it. Doh! We bought it knowing it would be a while connecting it, but all the SST appliances would match in our new Kitchen. Now there is no warranty which doesn't seem to be a loss as the repair reports are anything but satisfactory.Took the SST front panel off to watch while it was running. Saw the seal at the bottom of the door was ineffective. Every few rounds of the arms inside a small gush of water shoots under the seal, hits a small 45 degree lip that forms the front lower edge of the tub (1/2 inch high) and jumps over the edge. This then leaks down the inside of the door and drips onto the floor. Could happen on either side of middle.I put a run of tape along the lip where the water goes up and out. This directs the water back into the tub area so there is no direct path out for it. Almost 100% effective. The seal looks like an integral part of the door liner. So Frigidaire isn't likely to want to replace this with a better seal. Alternatively the tub seems to be the real culprit. Too expensive to replace and a 10o% possible ineffective repair if it's not 100% flat and to spec. I think it's simply a seal design that is dependent on a precise match of the tub/door and absolute flatness of the PLASTIC TUB. I'm not a rocket scientist but I don't think the flatness and STIFFNESS required for this seal design is possible on a plastic tub that is soft enough to withstand the heating/cooling and detergent of the dishwasher. If this was the intended design, the engineer is incompetent. SST tub... MAYBE a good fit would be possible.A better design would have some sort of mechanical "trap" or "dam" formed into the tub to prevent the water force from directly hitting the seal. The seal should be a back-up line of defense. The tape is a temporary test for me to see if it's fixed. My plan was to adhere a piece of plastic to the bottom of the tub (under the seal) about 1/16" thick so the BOTTOM DOOR SEAL contacts the tub bottom more tightly. This was likely the intended design. First though, I might do the "dam". Adhere a 1/4' X 1/4" plastic strip inside the tub, just in front of the seal. This should  stop the direct water force from pushing against the seal. Alternatively, another 1/4" strip in the outside of the seal would make the seal fit into a groove. This might be a fine solution and be a 100% mechanical means to stop the water from flowing out. This would leave the fragile seal from getting over-squished and failing (see : seal is part of the door liner). It saddens me that so many of these can get out of the factory (or out of the test lab) without a competent engineer catching this. It's like it's the first dishwasher they ever made.Good luck.
