How to remove bios password for Toshiba Satellite A200

If you know the current password, use it to enter BIOS SETUP.
Then, type a "blank" ("space-bar") as the "new" password.

If you don't know the current password, you're stuck;
this is a "security" feature to prevent a stolen laptop from being used by the thief.

if you mean the microsoft windows login password
you need a very helpfull tools called Knoppix
it's will crack SAM on your windows system

it's can be downloaded from
http://home.eunet.no/~pnordahl/ntpasswd

it's an ISO file
download it
then burn it to a CD

then you'll need to booting with your so called knoppix CD

then:

  1. select the partition where the system located
  2. select directory where system located
  3. you can choose to reset your password so no password used in your login system
  4. write change to disk

Reset password on toshiba satellite pro a200

Which operating system are you using?????????
you could set a password in the BIOS, but as far as a operating system password goes, it would be difficult, at best, to reset a password without being logged in first.....
