Several things can cause this; please check these items... (first assure it is unplugged and cool) remove the lid and artificial coals and all loose parts, examine the heating element for any cracks and or breaks in the surface of the element, now check the wires to assure they have not melted, check the plug to assure that it is not damaged. Finally check you GFI outlet you use. One of these items are surely the problem, replacement parts are available. I'm sure you can fix it!

My belling electric grill seems to be over heating when I've only got it on number 2

Electric elements overheat when:

1.) The temp. sensor has failed
2.) The element is improperly grounded/shorted to ground...
3.) The knob is loose and not indicating the actual setting

Treager grill blow fuse over and over

As you might imagine. If your Treager is blowing fuses, it has an electrical short somewhere. The tricky part is usually finding it. However, on the unit, it will likely be the hot rod. Replace it before the short causes other damage.

Using grill and everything tripped now grill or oven wont work

Electric grill most often uses heater element to heat up.Maybe your heater elemen is shorted to oven body thus tripping the safety device.
Check your grill system using insulation tester. If the insulation is low check the heater elemen insulation and if defective replace them.

Belling 492ss multifunction oven and grill. When grill turned on after 30seconds it trips the electric does it need new grill elements?

Hi you have a definite short , it could be a bad element or a wire that has burned though and is touching metal, turn off main power and start taking this unit apart, i would start with the grill since this is giving you the problem, http://www.appliancepartspros.com/ this place has almost every part i have ever needed and they ship same day you can also email me @ glipsky@tampabay.rr.com good luck !

Does not heat not used but a couple times kind of dissappointed with it

These units get killed when cleaning. Next one get the removable grills. This is an excellent design grill, except the ones with non removable grills- due to short life.

Main oven trips electric when switched on top oven works fine also grill . did notice that fan was making a noise

If the fuse or circuit breaker is tripping it is most likely a short circuit in the oven element.

When I plug it in it kicks out the circuit breaker.I see no cuts on the electrical cord.

first make sure your breaker can handle the amps that the unit is putting out also checked to see if its a gfci protected breaker cause u would not want it to be. Then if you are good w/fixing things the best solution is to start disconnecting one electrical part at a time(exmple electronic thermostat)then plug it back in w/that part still dscnncted if the breaker stays on u now no which part has the short in it. Contnue on to the next part if it still does not work thats one of the best ways to find a short in any thing that is electrical.also you can check the parts with a ohms meter to find out whch part has the short also
