Well...first check the cable and replace it if you have one. If you can try a different input. Make sure the proper input is selected on the projector.(if you are plugged into input 1 make sure that input is selected for viewing).

If it's plugged into a laptop you will need to switch the laptop video output to Projector or TV mode.
Most laptops I have worked with require you to hold down a key labelled "FN" while tapping a key with a symbol like a t.v. on it. Most laptops will require a driver (utility) installed to activate this feature.
