Deloris, try a hardware store or maybe a thrift shop for a lid. You can also try google search your make and model, cover or lid.

Replace with steel lid. Parts below but first I have to get my 2 cents in! I bought the replacement glass lid and it broke within the first week. Terrible design! They are using double sided tape to hold the glass to the hinge. There is too much spring tension to be held with tape. Way to go whirlpool engineers. I'm just a welder with 1 year of school and I figured that out? Hmmmm?
Steel lid retro fit Whirlpool will tell you it can't be done. However I did and it works and looks perfectly.
here's the parts you need All from a WTW8200 series washer Part prices from Sears. I'm sure you can find them cheaper elsewhere if you look. I bought from sears to utilize the return policy while figuring out what parts to get. Thanks Sears! Give them the business if you can!! 1 pc 8572026 Steel lid $40.90 2 pcs 8563964 hinge $6.99 ea (hinge from the glass lid are different and the screw holes won't line up) 4 pcs W10119828 $3.99 ea (could probably get from the hardware store for half the cost. Solution 2: buy a replacement glass lid from whirlpool and send them your broken original glass lid and get a refund for the one you just bought. Repeat as needed until they figure out they need to produce a quality product. Keep your whites...White and your colors bright America!!!
usually a new lid costs about 10-30 dollars. depending on where you go.... i would check around at local hardware stores, like Lowes, Menards, (if you have one), walmart, ace hardware. places like that. now if they don't carry them you definitely check on amazon usually they have a lot of lids that you can purchase.. if none of that works you might have to call the manufacturer to get a new one. i fyou have anymore questions please let me know.
Error 0502-Carrier Stall indicates a physically blocked carrier. This condition can occur for many possible reasons. Most often, the carrier is blocked because the ink cartridge lids are open while the printer is on (Figure 1).
Figure 1: Open Ink Cartridge Lids
Back to Top » Reseat the Ink Cartridges and Make Sure the Lids Are in Place
Make sure the printer is turned on.
Lift the printer's front cover.
The ink cartridge should be in the up/loading position unless the printer is busy.
Squeeze the tabs on the cartridge lids and lift the cartridge lids up. The cartridge pops up when the lid is fully lifted.
Remove the cartridges.
Make sure that all of the protective tape has been removed from the contacts on the ink cartridge.
Replace the cartridges.
Snap the lids closed.
Close the printer's front cover.
When prompted on the printer's LCD to choose New or Old, choose Old.
For more information about reseating ink cartridges, refer to the Maintenance or Ink Cartridge Maintenance section in the Online User's Guide.
the best place that you can try locally for a lid replacement would like target or wal-mart if you have one in your area. or any type of hardware store possibly. If those places don't have them the only other thing you would be able to do is call the manufacturer and get another lid that way.
you need check
1) make sure the line is stable or changeable there when you folding the LCD lid or touch lid somewhere. there is some temp disconnection if the line changes sometimes
2) check and make sure the LCD cable and the plug/socket at motherboard and back LCD panel, they are no dirty and disconnection
3) make sure the LCD panel hardware damage (replace one) if the lind is stable there, mostly should change the LCD panel.
I HAD the problem with the handle snapping off the lid of my oval 6qt lid - until I spent 10 minutes and $2 in the cabinet hardware section of Home Depot. Now I have a stylish silver & white handle on my crock pot lid. The bolt and grommet were re-used, several little tiny o-rings were added as spacers, along with a drop of Loc-tite.
