It was a hardware issue with my AMD processor, this is a known problem with these processors upgrading to sp3. HP has a Microsoft Windows XP sp3 upgrade utility for systems with amd processors. HP download sp37394, file version 4.1.100.1332, 1.85mb. You must first in stall this utility, before you upgrade to sp3, this will prevent your system from repeated restarts. If you already installed sp3, than remove it in add remove programs, than install this utility, and reinstall sp3 problem fixed.

A malware like virus or incompatible software, so does broken hardware may lead to computer keeps restarting. To fix your computer you can try the following steps.
1.You should troubleshooting whether if the computer restarts every time a certain hardware device is plugged in or switched on, the device itself might be to blame. Check drivers update for the device, and download and install them to erase any bugs that might exist in your version. Similarly, if the freeze only happens when using one particular application, that program might also be the root cause. Otherwise switch to step 2.
2.It can be a possibility that the virus has tampered with your operating system settings and system files. You can detect the presence of the virus by the antivirus program.
3.The most convenient and effective way is to use a professional software, there are kinds of software for you to fix the issue online. I've tried Windows Boot Genius last time, it can totally be used to fix such kind of issue. But the key to this issue is that the software is not a free one, so I suggest you to combined with the actual situation.

Tip

WinXP with NERO8, and SP3

If you have WinXP and NERO v. 8, - then DONT upgrade yor system to SP3.
Your controlpanel disaper, and uninstall of the SP3 is impasible, but, - if you got this problem, do as follow:
"run" regedit, find and delete all nero 8 related issues, it takes about a milion years, but its the only way.
When this is done, and your controlpanel is reachable, delete SP3, and do all the updates for SP2 +.
Then reinstall NERO8 again, and you are back on track.

No audio

I would say that you should install WinXP SP3 (if you are using WinXP) or Microsoft Universal Audio Architecture (UAA) Bus Driver from Microsoft and then restart computer, it should work. here is the link for UAA Driver ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp32501-33000/sp32646.exe
And for WinXP SP3 http://download.windowsupdate.com/msdownload/update/software/svpk/2008/04/windowsxp-kb936929-sp3-x86-enu_c81472f7eeea2eca421e116cd4c03e2300ebfde4.exe
try one of the link, it should work.

Take care.

Tried to install sp37394 on my HP amd processor

Hi,

You can try installing SP3 in safe mode, so that It doesn't conflict with any application software.
It should get installed successfully and problems should be fixed.
(Restart PC and keep tapping F8 to get advanced menu options and choose safe mode from there)
Let me know if you need any more help !

Thanks !
