Cant figure out tomahawk new genny ignition to start from inside

I managed to solder to the back (using a multi meter) so it will tun on then press button and starts from inside, but it won turn off and remotes dont weork long, i hah to have key on to do it, but i cant figure out how to start it from the house and stop it too. any one can help i can send photos, please krishardy2004 (at) gmail, if anyone can help with a diagram or need pics to draw me one PLEASE.

Simple solution.
Press the C.Lock key on the remote.
This key tunrs on and off the child lock feature.

It sounds like the anti theft lock is engaged. There should be 2 white wires hooked to the ignition. they are very easy to break in the halo surrounding the key. They measure resistance in the key itself. there should also be a plastic piece just behind the lock cylinder with a silver rod coming out of the bottom of it. That is the anti theft. If the wires are broke in the halo, it will not allow the rod to punch up and the key to turn. Take a ohm meter and test both wires. if with the key in you get no resistance measured, your halo is broken. You have to replace the lock cylinder and key. Then take it to the dealer to have the computer reset to recognize the new resistance setting.

No spark after rebuild

need a bit more detail did you remove the electrics.

Usual thing is to start with a full charges battery.

Take the plugs out to make cranking easier and check plugs.
Have plugs been change with a know set of good plugs that spark?

Obviously this will have engine management system with multi plugs.

Use the work shop manual with a multi meter to check each junction from the battery through the ignition circuit.

Do all the other electrics work?

My md7030 is new, just out of the box. the instructions for set up say to adjust all the switches then press the red button and the meter should 0 zero out. the meter is on 3 of the non ferrous side...

you need to use the tunning to adjust for any interference.. place it flat on a surface that is free of any interference.. then turn the tunning knob until u hear it go high pitch.. push the reset button until it centers out..it takes some practice..use different kinds of metal until u can tune it on the sound .. the higher the pitch the better the chance its worth digging for...good luck\

some models need the clutch in (even in neutral) to start, Check if there is a small micro switch under the clutch and check it works with a multi meter

Hello. The best way to determine if the switch is good is use a digital multi-meter,( $12.00 at wal-mart). Then remove the inside door panel, and plug the switch back in and probe the wires going into the motor while you operate the switch with the ignition key in the ON position. If it shows 12 volts as you press the switch, ( both up and down ), then you most likely have a bad motor.
