Go to the Dewalt service site at http://servicenet.dewalt.com/ and search for your model in the Find Parts box. You'll be presented with several accessories that have model numbers starting with DW073. Select your model number and under downloads you'll be able to view or download the parts breakdown and instruction manual.

I have been given a durabuilt rotary tool but have no manual or instructions on how to use, and I can't even figure out how to change bits... is there a free or inexpensive manual that I can obtain?

WEN Products has a rotary tool that is very nearly an exact duplicate of the Durabuilt rotary tool. I use the WEN manual at home for my Durabuilt rotary tool.

If you would like to see the WEN product page for their rotary tool, please visit this link: http://www.wenproducts.com/store/101-Piece-Rotary-Tool-Kit-2307

Here is a direct link to download the manual: http://www.wenproducts.com/store/index.php?route=product/download/download&download_id=62

No laser beam how to fix

I would check the batterys first and if they are good, generally there is no way for an end user to fix a laser. I have talked to DeWalt in the past about this and been advised not to open it up. you can try to reset the laser and see if it reboots, sometimes they are so far out they won't turn the laser on.

How do I calibrate my stanley laser level

to calibrate you need to have an area 75 to 100 feet in distance. place laser on tripod 20 feet from one end, take measurements on short and long end, then move laser to center of range and take measurements on both ends . the distance between both sets of marks should be within + or - 1/4 inch if not move level screw to move beam to center then center bubble

I need an instruction manual for my Rotary GS02392/44. Where can I download one or find one? Many Thanks. Jb

You can find some very brief instructions at http://www.rotarywatches.com/en/service/rotary-watch-care#instructions

I hope this helps.

If they are too short then I suggest you contact Rotary for more details.

Replace glasses "broken"

I assume that you are talking about the laser enhancing glasses if so the part number is 603367-00 and they list for 14.52 if not let me know and I will dig deeper.

I need to calibrate rotary laser DW073

Sounds like you figured this out on your own. I calibrate my own DW073 regularly without any fancy gadgets. I use the calibration check procedure in which the unit is placed about midway between fixed objects 100' apart.

These have a front and back and sides, so first you mark where the laser hits facing front to back at your targets. Then turn it 180 deg. relevel and resite. If the difference between the new and old marks is not the same then I turn the adjuster to halve the inconsistency and once that is accomplished, tweek the adjusting screw at the end of the level vial. (Because if you have adjusted more than the tiniest bit, the bubble will no longer display as level. So having established level, or closer to it, the adjustment here is actually to bring the relevant bubble vial back to level rather than assume they are level and adjust the physical beam mechanism (unlike the old physical sight levels where you adjusted the actual optics -- a little more like adjusting a rifle scope). Then you repeat for the side to side vial.

Anyway sounds like you are set so I posted this for anyone who happens to find this thread and is looking to field calibrate their DW073, e.g. don't have time or money to get it done in some shop.

I also wanted to post an add on question. Did you figure out how to adjust the "cone error", i.e. the accuracy of alignment of the twin lasers. They appear to have allen set screws that lock their adjustment, and maybe they are then reaimed by using a slotted screwdriver on the brass ring surrounding the laser. Maybe these are made eccentrically or slightly beveled so turning the laser reaims.

So far, my cone has stayed within the specs of 3/32" at 25' in the manual. But I'm seeing two lines at maybe 150' out. Probably that is close enough for gvmt. work, and I may find the adjusment so sensitive that I can't really get it any closer. But I'd at least be interested to know the method for adjusting the cone error.

Thanks,

Brian
