Question about Canon PIXMA MP287 ALL-IN-ONE INKJET PRINTER
When i wan to scan by pressing button "scan" from printer... the computer say lost connection and bla bla bla like pop out a window mention a code... i also open the driver built in program to try to scan... but same problem like above... and then i had type "scanner" in the start search box... and my printer did not in the list of printer...

The readme says that some USB hubs have an issue.
I was having problems and was connected via a hub. I removed the hub and connected the printer directly to the back of the PC and voila scanning is all good.

Do you have more than one PC connected to the scanner? I have both a PC and a Mac connected to it, and I think my scanner is trying to connect to the Mac, which requires image capture software to be installed, rather than the PC. Don't know how to tell it to go to the PC, though...
