Question about HP Mini 1000 Mobile Broadband series PC Notebook
When starting again nothing comes in the screen. Also shows "thermal shutdown occur"
It sounds like your laptop is overheating. You need to service the cooling system. To do this start by clearing all the vents of the laptop of dust and debris.
If you feel confident the next thing to do is take the laptop apart and do the same with the fans/heat sinks inside. I would also remove the heat sinks, remove any old thermal paste and re-apply some fresh paste. Then re-seat the heat sinks. If you do not feel confident in doing this it is best taken to your local repair shop and getting them to do it, Once this is done see whether the problems have been resolved by using your laptop for a while. If the problems still continue it could indicate one or more fans have failed and stopped spinning fast enough or altogether. Check this by listening to your laptop. As you use the laptop more you should notice the sound of the fan start as the laptop gets hotter and possibly speed up as time progresses. If you don't notice the fan kick in it is likely to need replacing.
