Question about MGE UPS Galaxy 3000 UPS System
MGE Galaxy 3000 UPS is showing an alarm "battery check needed". Does this mean there is something wrong with the battery or is it a time based notification. If so, how can it be reset?
This alarms indicates that the UPS has detected a lower than normal voltage, usually means that a battery is damaged at least. If the batteries are 4 or more years old... replace them all. If batteries are three years old or less, check every battery and replace the ona that you detect with a voltage lower than 13.0 vcd.
