SOURCE: my brother PE 150 embroidering machine says,

Try completely unthreading and rethreading it. You may also try using a different bobbin.

SOURCE: The top thread keeps breaking. The thread pulls

try a tension a 3 to 5 on the top tension
try changing to a needle or if it's a new needle make sure the flat side of the needle faces the back of the machine and pushed all the way up into the needle holder
make sure the needle & thread are correct for each other, if the needle is to thin or to heavy for the fabric it will not work

My tension thread is not looping to my upper thread...keeps saying rethread machine and press start But my threads are not broken there just not catching

Remove all the thread from your machine. Check to make sure there are no loose threads or lint in the machine. If your machine requires oiling, follow the instructions.

Install a brand new needle.

RAISE the presser foot and rethread from the beginning. Confirm the thread path is correct.

Check that the bobbin is loaded and threaded properly.

Pull the bobbin thread up to the top of the fabric.
How and Why to Bring up the Bobbin Thread

If the upper thread will not pull up the bobbin thread, the machine most likely has a timing issue. Take it for service.

Machine keeps stopping with upper or lowef thread broken message. Thread isn't broken?

Bobbin might be upside down or backwards and for thread breaking the tension is too tight .

Error Code: Check and rethread the upper thread

Yes. It is a sensor on the take up spring. If you miss threading the take up spring you get this error. If take up spring is bent or broken you get this error or if sensor is damaged this error occurs.

Why does the check upper thread notice continue to come on when the thread is not broken?

I suspect fluff or lint is interfering with the sensor. Might be time for servicing.

Elna 8200 embroidery machine. Broken needle

Computerized machines need to be serviced by an authorized sewing machine technician, preferably Elna.

Diving into this may cause more problems and end up costing you more money for repair.

It is stoping and says the thread is broke but it is not so I push the start and it sews a few more stitches and the same thing I can keep pushing start and it goes again. Barbie

I am not 100% sure on this machine but on most emb. machines they have a sensor connected to the take up spring. When the spring goes up and down the machine thinks things are ok. When the spring does not move it thinks the thread is broken. So...make sure the upper threading is correct. Make sure you have bobbin thread. If this all is ok then the spring may be broken. The spring is located where you make the "U" turn at the bottom of threading and go back up. Hope this helps.

Machine is jamming

You need to remove the bobbin from the "race" by following the instructions in the manual. Give it a good clean and remove any bits of fluff and thread. Remove the upper thread also andmake sure that the tension wheel is clear of any broken threads and is on the correct setting. It may have been threaded wrong. The hand wheel not turning sounds like the bobbin area is jammed also.

Our machine had the same problem, there was a piece of broken thread stuck in the upper tension spring keeping the tension spring open. removing the broken thread in the upper tension solved the problem for us
