Hi, When I send a print job with a solid color for the background of my picture, the color of the solid area doesn't look completely filled. It has a fainted white color through the whole paper. Picture looks faded. Do you know the cause? Thank you! Keith

To print white, you need to use the spot color option in the printer properties. The object to be printed must be all black. It seems counter to what you might think, but the spot color mode will print the solid black areas as the selected spot color.
its the problem of connecting cable.and other error 212 is for internal circuit board error.you will have to contact xerox service center and get the resetter for this online.or if its board problem you will have to order the parts. http://www.office.xerox.com/multifunction-printer/color-multifunction/docucolor-240-250/sprt-enus.html

the only thing apart from software corruption is that you could try printing a configuration sheet. If this prints then black printing is working. If it won't then print a test page then you need composite patch 1-7QU5B.ps from the xerox "drivers and downloads" site. If none of this works it is a software reload.
do an emergency stop on the machine as the paper is just coming into the main path, and you will catch the inage on the IBT. with a bit of luck on the drum as well. Is it not in 1 colour the white lines? Also are they thick or pencil like lines and from lead edge to trail edge?
Make sure the drums are properly seated in their cradels, and if posible, avoid designing with white small text in heavy solid areas that are made up of process colours. For reverse type in a black background, use spot color black rather than rich black. Other than than printing on a not as heavy card, that is about all you can do.
